Nice find in midtown east
Found this place by confusing it with another restaurant -- came to shih lee's by mistake and am glad i confused the 2! although it is not posh and super duper expensive, shih's food isn't about being fancy and charging you an arm and a leg - it's about being great tasting and customer service. i've eaten here regularly since then and i highly recommend this place if you are looking for great chinese food that actually tastes good and fresh.

Best Chinese Food ever!
I have been eating at Shih Lee's for over 9 years now, and still haven't gotten tired of their food! The best Chinese food you could find in Midtown!! The service is excellent. Thank you, Shih and Lee for making your food "out of this world". We often order for work lunches and they always deliver on time, sizzling hot. Well, if anyone has not tried their food yet, don't forget to drop by, you won't reget it!

Great Orange Chicken... One of the best I've had. Reasonably priced. Quick delivery... Person on the phone spoke great english and had a personality too!.. Haven't been inside but terrific take out...

Delectable and great, fast service
Food is always fantastic and service is fast and friendly. I order here for dinners late at work and will frequent here on the weekends as well. Food is still hot at delivery and this is not the average greasy oily chinese food in manhattan. It is fantastic, and i usually order adobo or oxtail with egg drop soup.

Great Chinese Delivery
I followed the reviews and ordered the General tsos chicken. It was really tasty and crisp, not greasy. Delivery was extremely fast and is packaged nicely. Definitely will order from again.

Hit the spot on a late night working!
After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. This is by far, the best Chinese meal I've had in Midtown. Even though the food was delivered, the entree was hot, the drinks were cold and the food was right on time! Because it is located close to my job, you can believe I'll be ordering from here more often for those late night dinners at work. Very satisfied.
