The Best!
My girlfriend and I love this place. The food is the best chinese food we've found in NYC. Ordering Delivery is always a pleasant experience because the guys on the phone have turned taking orders into an artform and they are master artists! Fully accommodating, efficient, friendly, intelligent and devoted to customer service. I've never gotten something I didn't like. Don't bother trying any other Chinese Restaurant in the area.

Best Value, Best Service, Great food!
For the past month, I have been trying out different Chinese resturants and I found that if you want great Chinese food at an inexpensive price, fast delivery and friendly service, Shih Lee is the way to go. The delivery person is an awesome guy too. I am so glad to find a reliable Chinese delivery resturant in the area! Thanks!

Trustworthy, tastes good
I've never eaten here in person, but have ordered for work parties and these guys are great - honest and won't rob your wallet. given that, i have ordered here for work parties and never been disappointed. great food, hot food, comes on time and accurate billing. highly recommended for groups and parties, definitely worth a try.

Worth trying
Who doesn't like Chinese? I personally don't know anyone who doesn't. I usually order from Spades (recommended) but on a whim decided to try something in the East 40's where I live. This place had nothing but glowing reviews, so I thought I would try it. I wasn't sure I would agree with all the positive feedback - but after having a great meal, I am on board! The person taking my order was friendly and helpful, and when I said I liked spicy both the Szechuan dumpling appetizer (a tried and true and here a cut above) and the sliced chicken Szechuan style were just the amount of fiery and plentiful. I look forward to trying more. HIGHLY recommended.

Nice little spot w/ great food and awesome environment. Servers have personality and are down to earth. Must eats in the city......

Best Chinese on the East Side of Midtown
I absolutely love Shih Lee. Been ordering from this place for last 3 months every since I read the reviews on here. They certainly live up to the hype. The egg rolls are huge, the soup portions are very generous for the pirce, and I always have left overs on the chicken dish (Sesame, Tso's, Orange, etc) that I ordered. For less than $15, I'm completely full for two nights. Delivery is quick and the food is always hot. Best of all, they're so nice on the phone. You can easily understand them and they fully understand you. No order discrepancies ever!

Not A Secret Anymore
Shih Lee serves the best chinese food in the city, hands down. The people are nice and the food is delicious. Good value for the price, and the food does not leave you feeling sick afterwards, like other chinese food places. However, it is a lot more packed and busy now that it seems that everyone has found out about this place! I also order here for dinner since I work in midtown, so it is convenient for me at work also. I highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it - it's right next to the United Nations, you can't miss it.
