Shih Lee is very pocket friendly
I have ben here about 3 times already and will keep coming back. Great food and nice lunch specials. It can get crowded at times, but that is just a testiment to how many people enjoy this place. For lunch try to get there early because the food goes quick.

Good, cheap Chinese
We checked out the reviews of Shih Lee on Menu Pages and decided to check it out for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised with the clean and open decor, and friendly service. The chicken fried rice and General Tso's Chicken were delicious and authentic. It took about 15 mins to cook, which was better than food that sat out all day. We are definitely going to eat here again and would recommended it to anyone looking for an easy, comfortable, and casual meal that's delicious.

Best Chinese in Midtown East
This is my go-to Chinese restaurant on the east side. I have tried several places in the area and have found Shih Lee to have the best quality poultry. I can only speak for the chicken dishes, but they serve white meat (also available upon request for dark meat dishes). It is not rubbery, stringy chicken you find at most inexpensive Chinese restaurants. They also deliver very quickly and have never make an error with my order during the past 3 years.

Great Service, Good Food, Great Value
Shih Lee is run by 2 great brothers who give the place a friendly neighborhood atmosphere and treat the customers as friends. Food is as authentic Chinese as Midtown can get. Great prices too!

Nothing Special
This eatery is nothing out of the ordinary. Lunch options are limited and not the most impressive.

Great value, great service
The owners, two brothers named Ski and Shi, are always around, esp. at night, and are very friendly and accommodating The food is great, always fresh and really quite good. Good bets: scallion pancakes, orange beef, rice noodles with shrimp. You don't get rushed by the waiters. A really comfortable place to have a nice Chinese dinner.

Inexpensive yummy delivery
I order from here often. They are super friendly on the phone, the delivery time is fast, the food is inexpensive and also quite yummy. I've never been in the restaurant so I don't know what the atmosphere is like, but this place is perfect for a work-day lunch
