Over Rated
The dumplings had little meat within. The Shrimp had so much batter it was hard to distinguish them. The sauce was full of sugar. The egg roll was bland and unremarkable. I would pass on this place it was them most distasteful chines food I can remember

Excellent Chinese Food
This is among the best chinese food this area has to offer - and it is quite possibly the best I've ever had. The dumplings are made fresh to order as well as the eggrolls - not sure where the guy from the previous post actually went, but is surely wasn't the same shih lee I've come to love. I've lived in the area for over 1 year now and I've tried all the chinese food places around. This is hands down the best. Chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken, buddhist delight, eggrolls, and dumplings are personal favs.

Chinese Food Gone Wrong!
I am new in the area and decided to check out some great Chinese spots. Bad Idea with this place. I walked in and thought that I was going to be able to order my lunch and it would be cooked fresh! Nooo....I walk into a small shack of a chinese eatery where all the food is PRECOOKED!! Uggghhh!! Since I walked down from 42nd and had to get back to work, I said "What the Hell" let me try it out. I ordered the Chicken and Broc, Spicy Chicken and a couple of Chicken Wiings..I know a lot of chicken..and I included the Veg LoMein. I was displeased with all of the food and I am a hardcore Chinese eater..come on I am from Los Angeles and we are not just know for Mexican! The LoMein was mushy, cold and very Americanized! The Chicken and Broc was a weird looking color so I was quite nervouse to dig in, and the spice chicken was welll lets just say not so spicy! The only positive comment that I can say about the establishment was the staff was very pleasant and the spices they used on the chicken wings was marvelous! Before you decide to take that lonnggg trip down the unknown when your craving Chinese, you might want to look to your usual spot.

Best noodle soup in manhattan
The beef noodle soup is better than chinatown.

Great value away from Chinatown
I had dinner with a friend here recently and really enjoyed the experience. The staff is extremely friendly and ready with recommendations. Highlights were the vegetable tofu soup which was very light and not oily at all. Also, the shrimp and eggplant which was perfectly cooked and also not oily. I would definitely recommend it as a reasonable, comfortable, unpretentious place. An added bonus are the postcards on the wall from customers.

very tasty chinese
I had a great meal here. The atmosphere is casual but the food was perfectly cooked. I tried Oxtail for the first time and it was great. I am a bit of a dumpling snob and I thought the dumplings here were fantastic. Very tasty Chinese food and very good service all at a great price.

love this place
I love this place! It's a busy lunch spot so I go for dinner whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Ask the staff to recommend items and you can't go wrong.
