Funny enough on a late monday night at 1:30 in the morning we called one of our usual places and they were closed. And then we called everywhere else around. All closed. Which ... brought us to Sherwood. First question was what can we get this time of the morning ??? They said one word: Everything ! The next question was: will you deliver ??? The answer was simple: Yes. The Menu has everything from eggs to pasta to hot sandwiches - entrees, desserts, soups of the day, sides, and don't forget to ask for their Specials - they always have "Specials." Ahhh and forget watching the waistline ... they have ummmm New York Cheesecake. The prices are equal to the food - both rate ... good to very good. Have never been there but have ordered at different times of the evening and night. The people were cheerful and polite and you didn't have to wait forever for the food. Would order from them anytime. The Baked Rigatoni is well worth it (with leftovers for lunch) and the half pound Burger will fill the hungry man / hungry woman syndrome : ) Late night or at any other time - this eatery it a GOOD thing to know about !!!! more Cool-ness.

I have ordered from Sherwood several times so I feel pretty good typing this review. The service is good ato me although I only get deliveries. My food is always prompt, fresh, and yummy! I havent experience rudeness on the phone and theyre fast which is good when youre hungry. My job is at least 10 blocks away and to me theyre still pretty fast. I cant speak for atmosphere...Ive never eaten there, but I will continue to order as long as I work in the neighborhood. They have great breakkfast food grits, bacon, but the one time I ordered steak for breakfast it was rubbery, stale and basically gross...so I stick with the basics which I know they dont screw up.

I only order from Sherwood because I have to (they are open 24 hours and I work a late shift a block away). The food is generally pretty tasty as far as "diner food" goes -- especially when they get it right. I'd estimate that they manage to mess up a good 30 to 40 percent of the orders I have made, from leaving out salad dressing (and then having to send the poor delivery guy back a second time) to much more egregious errors. yet, they give you attitude if you ask them to read back an order. The guys who work at the front are courteous, but the young men who do the grunt work are generally rude and pushy in my experience. If you needed to order late at night, their food is generally good, but don't be surprised if something is missing or you don't quite get what you ordered.

I order from this place all the time. Service can definitely be better but at midnight beggars can't be choosers. Food is delicious with quick delivery.

Working in an office building, we order Sherwood a lot, so you think they would try to value loyal customers who have spend god knows how much money. But alas, they could really care less. Weekend service is very poor-the orders are never correct. And when you call to try to correct the order, you may be treated rudely and with no respect. When I called to say I had been delivered the wrong order, the woman on the phone said to me "Just eat it. You're hungry, aren't you?" I am not kidding.

I order from here at least 4 times a week. The pastas are delicious, pies excellent, good chicken. There's so much to choose from and i've never been dissapointed with the quantity and quality.

First time ordering from Sherwood. Working at night and wanted to order an easy, fresh salad. Sometimes I am picky about salad dressing but my Sherwood salad was PERFECT. Fresh greens, fresh mozz and HUGE portion of chicken breast on top. Good price, fast delivery and most importantly, good chow. I'll order from them again soon.
