The fish is the dish
I'm a Chinese food snob. While Shanghai Lee is not amazing, it is quality. Very nice owners and very good value. Surprisingly, their fish is delish. It's crispy style but only lightly fried. Total yum delight.

Best Chinese in Greenpoint
I have been ordering take out and delivery from Shanghai Lee since they opened.....The owners and staff are so nice and try very hard to accommodate me. I am pretty picky and like to eat fresh and healthy! I love the steamed bok choy, broccoli and snow pea mix w/tofu and brown rice (opt.) any sauce on the side that I want. Sometimes on a busy night everyone calls at once and the kitchen gets backed up and the delivery guys get backed up......get over it! The food is delish and overall this is an excellent choice if you're feeling fresh veggies/ingredients or awesome, amazing, fried wontons!

Best Chinese in Greenpoint
This place isn't gourmet but the ingredients are fresh and well prepared and they are always willing to modify. I get chicken chow fun with Chinese broccoli or add mushrooms. A great value too! Love their wontons!

Best Chinese in Greenpoint
I've tried most of the Chinese options in this area of Greenpoint and this is hands down the best. Good portions, quality ingredients, prompt delivery.

Delicious
I ordered delivery. The food arrived within 15 minutes. It was absolutely the best chinese food I have eaten. It tastes very clean. They use good quality food and it is very evident. This place gets 2 thumbs up from me :)

Surprised
i'm surprised this place has so many bad reviews. I think it is bay far the best Chinese food in Greenpoint. I order for delivery often, and I always get it very quickly (I am only 6 blocks away though). The price is a bit higher than Green leaves or any of those other hole in the wall Chinese restaurants, but it tastes MUCH better, and they have way better options. I love that they have avocado salads, with the carrot ginger dressing, the dressing is SO good. I also love their Pork Lo Mein and Shrimp Me Fun Noodles.

The title says it all. We live a 15 minute walk, 5 minute bike-ride from this place...
