poor to worse
you can only go here if you don't know what food never mind good food tastes like there are much finer kosher chinese abeit on long island

great family place
We go often with the kids,Buffet night cant be beat I feed a family of 5 for about $65.00 the food is decent and in terms of kosher you won’t find a bigger place. Go and enjoy

Hit or miss expensive food.
Food: the food is pretty hit or miss. Atmosphere: it's a nice FAMILY restaraunt. a little loud but nice. Value: Expensive. not top tier expensive but enough to make you look at the bill twice. Service: ranges from pretty standard to good. there always seems to be a long disappearace of the waiter(s) after the main course. (desert? check?)

The Ultimate Kosher Chinese
In Kosher Chinese there is a lot of schlock, a handful of decent places... and then there is Shang Chai. This is really the ultimate place for Kosher Chinese cuisine. The Eggrolls and the Ribs are unrivaled. The freshness of the rice, the chicken and the veges are remarkable. The PuPu platter is an incredible dining experience to be enjoyed by a small family, or a very hungry couple. And the Parave Pistachio ice cream is the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

fantastic kosher chinese food
This is the best of the best when it comes to authentic chinese food that happens to be also kosher. The service is top notch. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. The best is the Thursday night all you can eat buffets for just under $20.00 per person. The place is always packed especially when there are more than one party going on.
