When the do it just right, and the pizza gets slightly crispy, there is no better slice in NYC. This is the perfect New York slice. Salad is also an amazing value, they will let you put almost anything you can think of into the salad as a topping, even falafel balls! If they like you, they will make almost anything you can think of: custom breakfast wraps, fish and chips wrap, ice cream and coffee milkshake, it just boggles the mind. All this for under $10. And your bubbie approves, she is sitting across the table from me, kvetching about the service again...

I like this place. Walk in, and you really feel like you're in the LES of 20 years ago... its got a certain time-hasn't-changed charm- totally not deliberate. The food is good: I get the eggs, bagel, potatoes and coffee special for 4.50 quite often, and the pizza is quite good!

This place treats you like they are doing you a favor every time you order food. Its expensive compared to non-kosher pizza but normal relative to the overpriced kosher world. The restaurant itself is usually not too clean but the clientele has a certain nebish charm. If it is your only choice, you could be in a worse situation. If you have a choice, go elsewhere.

I order food from this place 1-2 times every week bec. I work in the LES. I will say that the pizza is average kosher pizza fare. Sometimes better sometimes worse. The vegetable soup ranges from decent to very good, you just have to emphasize you want your serving thick. The vegetarian cholent has been excellent the few times I have had it. The salad has been pretty good, but expensive. Overall it is quite adequate, nothing a little solid competition couldn't fix, but as mentioned already, there really isnt any down here.

The pizza is not good, the store is dirty and service is OK. This is the only game in town for downtown kosher pizza and they know it. They recently expanded the menu, but the quality of ingredients is very poor as are the finished product. The neighborhood is not discerning so they'll eat anything.
