    Believe the Hype

Are these burgers perfect? Possibly. The cozy potatoe bun finish certainly doesn't hurt. The crinkle cut fries with kosher salt don't either. And the chocolate shake, in my opinion gives respect to the very name of the establishment. The line moves fast and the park is a nice place to chillax, even in winter (heat lamps). I like simple burger joints and this place has great burgers and keeps it simple enough.

Weebles Wobble but they don't fall down

This weeble CANNOT believe she was talked into getting a shake in her fancy shoes. I mean, it was cold, and I did not have the option to remove my shoes, and they are tall! I liked my food just fine. The shake WAS yummy. But for real: why would you wait in that line? I had a bite of a burger - it was delicious, but I know a few places that rival with no wait like that. Do you too?

OH MY GOODNESS!! YUM! Fries are perfect. Not soggy, not too salty, firm enough. Usually fries of this circumference are soggy, but not these!! But forget about the best fries ever, I GOT THE PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM BURGER WITH A HAMBURGER ON THE BOTTOM. It's called the "Stack" and it's a burger with a portobello mushroom, that's been stuffed with cheese, breaded and deep fried, on top. so its like 2 "burgers" in one w/ lettuce and tomato. Ok, I've been to 5 star restaurants, and this is by far, the most delicious, naughty thing ive ever eaten. I am in extacy right now. WOW. and for 12 bucks, not a bad deal either. Watch out for the line though, LONNNGGG.

    #1 Burger in NY

Even on an off night this place offers the best burger in NY! Not a huge fan of the dogs or fries. Be prepared they skrew up the toppings sometimes. Still the best!

Long line for mediocre food and not that cheap

Ok, so we waited on line for more than a few minutes to order some great fries that turned out to be mediocre fries. The hot dog was good but Sabrett is better and the burger was forgettable. $27 for the fare was not too bad but not cheap. Oh and seating is impossible. I am not going back.

    Always amazing

I've been back to Shake Shack time and time again for the Shack Stack and have never been disappointed (you MUST get the deep fried cheese and portabello mushroom with the meat patty for the best experience even if you don't like mushrooms). I've seriously had family members fly out to NY for the weekend JUST to get the Shack Stack and concrete... It's worth the 45-60 minute wait. Be smart and bring a snack! ;-) Highly recommended. It will change your life...

Yummy Desserts but Long Queues and Limited Main Meal Veggie Options

Worth the wait in my opinion. The only other down fall is that the veggie menu is very limited. Only one option to choose from. Other than that the frozen custard is a must!
