Went for the Chicago Dog, which turned out to be a disappointment, both in taste and for the price. Bought a Shack Burger and a Shack Shake on a whim, WOW! The burgers are definitely the thing to go for and their shakes are as comfort food as you can get on the go. I highly recommend a stop at Shake Shack for a hamburger with shake fix anytime. Your kids will love ya, your date will love ya, your tummy will definitely love ya.

Yes, there is a long line... who cares, it's NYC, who doesn't wait in line for something great.

This place has FABULOUS burgers, shakes etc. I do agree, even on non-peak times, there tends to be a decent wait unless you go on super off hours. I go anyway though, cuz it's that good.

I enjoyed the cheeseburger and it was nice eating in the park. But I have the same waiting complaint...yes, I know it is obvious not to go at peak times. That's why I went at 2:30. I still did not eat until about 30 minutes after I placed my order. When are the non-peak times?

Don't listen to the person below me - "I waited so long blahblahblah." Don't go at peak times. That is obvious. Good food. Good prices. Lunch in the park. Highly recommended.

10 minutes in the order line...35 minutes in the pickup line...5 minutes to eat a not-so-big double Shack burger. If I wanted long lines and no end value I'd be at Ticketmaster getting Britney Spears tickets.

Forget the New York Burger a block away. THIS is the place to get a tasty burger for a reasonable price -- AND this burger will actually fill you up! Just don't forget to tell them whether you're staying or going, or they'll bark at you at the pickup window...
