Great Burgers!
Came for a group lunch with my coworkers. It was raining, so the line wasn't so bad - waited only about 15-20 minutes total from the line to the meal. I got the regular burger with lettuce, pickle, tomato and shacksauce bc it weighs in at a mere 370 calories. It was packed with flavor, juicy and very filling. My co-workers went with shakes, smoke burger and the other extras - everyone enjoyed their food. It is cramped and loud inside. Not nearly enough seating for the demand - you'll be hovering for a while and when you do get a seat, you'll likely be sitting very close to a stranger. The second your last bite is gone someone is next to you waiting for your spot. I wouldn't sit down at rush again. Friendly service. Inexpensive. Will be back (for take out)!

No Complaints
I had an overall good experience during my first trip to Shake Shack. I went on http://shakeshackcamera.com/ before I went so I luckily didn't have to wait on the longest line. I had to wait about ten minutes for my food but I was able to get a table almost right away so I didn't mind at all. The burger, shake, and fries were all delicious, and I appreciated that my "Fair Shake" was made with fair trade coffee. I didn't think their Shack Sauce was anything too special but the burger itself was cooked to perfection.

Yum
If you are looking for a nice juicy burger off the griddle, this is your place. Go at an off time, you'll be less stressed and find a seat easier. Yes, it's often crowded, but that's because its delicious. Fries were hot and crisp, burgers were yummy, and shakes were delicious. Food is much better priced than most in the area.

Dreadful
I used to be a fan of Shake Shack, but seriously this chain has gone downhill....fast. Burger was greasy, fries oversalted, custard way too sweet. Plus there's never anywhere to sit and you have to hover over people while they're eating so you can swoop on the table as soon as they even hint that they're going to move. Not a fun dining experience for anyone.

Ok
I finally got to Shake Shack on 44th and thought the burger was okay. Nothing to get all excited about unless the only burger you've had has been a fast food place or a frozen patty. There are better burgers in NY at quality Diners and at Melon's. I didn't care for the sauce that came with the Shack burger. Service was good since I went at an off-time. I don't like to hunt for a seat or to eat on a bar stool shoulder to shoulder with a stranger talking to a friend sitting across a thin "table".

Overrated
I finally tried Shake Shack for the first time because I wanted to see what all the hype was about, and to be honest, I don't get what the big deal is. I went with two friends and there was a line out the door. Seating is very limited, so after we ordered, we had to stalk other diners in an attempt to find a place to sit. I was quite disappointed with the food. Everyone says Shake Shack burgers are the best, but I've had much better. It just a small soggy fast food burger and it was too salty. I order cheese fries, but they tasted like frozen friends that were popped in the microwave and the cheese tasted like it came out of jar at the supermarket. After eating two fries, I threw them away. I'm not much of a food critic and it most times, I can appreciate a good meal. I rarely give negative reviews, but in this case, I don't get why Shake Shack is so popular. Now that I tried Shake Shack, I won't be going back.

Touched by God
I was a serious skeptic. Seeing lines daily wrapped down the corner I said no burger could be that good. When the line was empty one day I decided to give it a try and the light of God shined upon my face as I bit into the juicy delight. I soon became one of the line dwellers needing a fix.
