    Best burger so far

Ive been here quite a few times after finally finding a decent burger! Even though some ppl might not be crinkle fry lovers I dont mind, they are always crispy and hot. I love to get the caramel shake unless the custard of the day sounds interesting and I order it as a shake. My fav is the shack stack but due to getting migraines strangely after eating beef Ive been forced to order the shroom burger instead. As a meat lover I sure miss the burger part but the portobello mushroom is so meaty I always leave satisfied, would def recommend!

    Best ever!

Shack Shake is fantastic. Lived in Ca. and loved In & Out burgers...the fries were not good but loved the burgers until we tried Shake Shack...no comparison...hands down this place is the best...burgers and fries are so delicious. Have to try the hot dog...hear it is delicious.

    Totally overrated

The burgers are ok, but it's basically a slightly upscale McDonald's for hipsters. The kind of place that's all about "buzz" and nothing about substance. Just like the current younger generation. I asked for a burger medium-rare and they wouldn't even do it. I recommend New York Burger Company, Wall Street Burger Shoppe or Burger Heaven instead.

Great food worth the short wait

Great place to go with friends. Shakes are delicious. I would recommend the vanilla and the chocolate peanut butter; but the fair trade is good too. Fries are crispy and enough to share. The shroom burger is delicious but don't be misled by the name... it's a deep fried cheese ball with a mushroom on top. The outdoor heaters are nice for a cool day. Worth the short wait

    Yum, Yum, Yum

The Shroom burger is the best I ever had, the fries are great, the service was lovely.... I wish they delivered!

Great-Tasting Burgers, Great Seating & A Much Shorter Queue!

We like Shake Shack and this is one location where the queue is short! Hooray!! :) We like the indoor & outdoor seating too :D The only con was the concrete was either frozen or too thick or both -- we could have been faster digging it out with a metal spoon.

    Best burgers bar none

I think some of the other reviewers don't understand what shack shack is about they grind fresh beef daily it's not fast food like McDs with their frozen cardboard patties or been sitting there heatlamp food. Every dinner on the UES will give you a burnt or raw burger. I waited on a 3 hour line for one of these burgers at the downtown location so a 20 min wait is fine and only 3 blocks from my house is great. The meat is fresh the veg is fresh two things that's hard to get at a fast food place or dinner and so far their always perfect. Fair shakes are great and the rice crispy treat concrete is to die for.
