Shachi's Arepas To Go (CLOSED)

Everything I have tried is great. Best empanadas in the city. Arepas are great too. Only negative is it's not closer to my work/home.

Been twice and am hooked. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. The empanadas are some of the best I've ever had. I just wish I lived/worked closer!

Holy shark farts this place is good. I'm guessing from past reviews that this place used to have a full restaurant but I believe now it's more a to-go place which is perfectly fine as long as I have access to their amazing arepas. They are full of flavor and delicious meat. The combinations go beyond the expected ham and cheese into wonderful flavor explosions. The empanadas are equally yummy, using a corn meal based dough instead of the expected flour based dough and to great results. I'm a Puerto Rican and I must admit that I prefer this version of an empanada; it's like a surullito and an empanada had a baby and it was better than both. I plan on ordering from here once a week to try their other amazing arepa options.

Great staff, Great food, the price more then fair, The place is cozy and relaxing, try the pork chops called Chuletas Mecha wow so good! I'm coming back to try the steak a table next to us had it and it looked and smelled so good...

Finally writing a review since this little spot has truly become a favorite! The octopus salad is out of this world. The arepas are super tasty, empanadas are great. The entrees are amazing as well. Don't forget to try the sangria - a must!

Amazing... delicious food, and lots of it. Strong and tasty sangria, and my paella included a lobster claw and tail! Will be going back often.

I desided to try something new and glad I did. The food was good and not expensive. The atmosphere is romantic with the lit candles. I would go there again. Good place for a romantic dinner.
