The spaghetti and sea urchin on the menu tasted like something that should not be on the menu. very rubbery tasting. Yes, I know its sea urchin and it is an acquired taste, but i also think that if it tastes bad, you should not put it on the menu. Also, i had a problem with them serving wine in a cheapo beer glass and charge a $8 corkage on top of it.

We have been semi-regulars for the last couple of months and love the food. The menu changes regularly, but the best items always stay on. The wait staff is great, especially at the bar. The host could use a bit of an attitude adjustment, but he means well when you get to know him. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very small and it's hard to get get a reservation.

We were regulars here as it is very close by and we liked the atmosphere. It was expensive for the extremely small portions, but it was new and different so we made a weekly standing reservation which was not honored by the rude host once the restaurant became busy. All in all, I would say it's not worth it for the high prices, very limited menu and poor service by the host. The waitresses are really great though!

Love the fresh food, love the atmosphere, great service at the table, but the maitre d' on all three occcasions that we dined there was not incredibly welcoming. Barring that, the place is a wonderful and much-needed addition to the UES.

What a lovely looking spot ---great for dinner before a class or lecture at 92nd St.Y. The decor is most attractive and alluring but after that all goes downhill. It is quite small in size and therefore gets very noisy as soon as it is filled up. The sardine appetizer was interesting and the potato salad with the sardines was tasty. However the sardines (2) were cured and hard and rubbery without much taste. I ordered a pasta dish with lemon type sauce. It was ordinary with not much zing or interest and the pasta was not ad dente. Basically a bland, uninteresting dish. My companion ordered the filet of sole and received two filets rolled up with, I believe, olive tapenade on top. The latter was good but the fish was somewhat overcooked and the portion was very small and expensive for what was given. The waitress was pleasant and professional but had her order pad stuck in the back of her jeans between her underwear, which was showing, and her jeans. This was obvious to the customer and not very appealing. Would not return and was disappointed.
