    Great neighborhood restaurant!

We live 2 blocks away and have been going regularly since it opened. If we have friends or family in town this is almost always the place that we pick. The food is great, especially the pizzas. I always mean to get something else, but I keep going back to the pizza. The only complaint that I have is that the service can be slow. This seems to be getting a little better though. Seriously, you can't miss in this place.

    Excellent and authentic pizza, delicious

This place is great. in the restaurant wasteland that is the UWS, this place is a true find. the pizza is the closest i've found in NY to resembling that which you find in Italy. and the calamari fritti is really outstanding.

    I love this place

The food here is fantastic. Everytime I go in, there are so many appetizing specials, I've barely made a dent in their regular menu. As much as I didn't like living here for 3 years, one thing I'll miss when I move out in May 2006 is Sezz Medi. (I may come back to visit, but just for the food (especially the tomato and cucumber salad).)

    Good Italian Food

Been there many times and never disappointed. The ocotopus is the best in the city. Excellent salads (chichory & watercress), and Nicoise. Great tegamino. Entrees are excellent too. Sevice can be dicey at times, but generally OK. Very noisy. Generally, you won't be disappointed.

    Great Italian

Sezz Medi has the closest thing to authentic Italian food and pizza one is going to find in the Morningside Hights area. The brick oven pizza is incredible but just about every dish that I've tride there has been great due to the freshness of the ingredients. However, I've found the atmospher to be a bit cramped and dark.
