I work at a hotel near this fine dining establishment. I frequent it from time to time on my lunch break. If you want to indulge in some upscale American dining with a classy ambiance, then this is the place. Two recommendations: the sweet onion risotto appetizer with crumbled feta cheese and the $16 burger. I know what you are saying, but you are getting one AMAZING burger complete with the best golden fries you have ever tasted as well as homemade bread and butter pickles and a delicious portobello mushroom top.

Just went there a couple days ago. There was a mix up with our order but it was corrected and everyone was very apoligetic for it and made things right. The filet mignon is amazing as are the desserts. highly recommend!

We were looking for a rest. to meet with friends who come into NYC on the LIRR. Two men from Tripadvisor recommended Seven- Very glad we took their advise. Made reservations and our booth was waitin when we arrived. We sat at the front lounge having a drink first and then was shown to our booth. 3 had the salad(large portion and dressed perfectly)our friend had soup- said it was hot and tasty. My husb. had filet mignon- he was happy and 3 of us had seafood. I had scallops which were done just right. My friend had monk fish wrapped in bacon and her husb. had trout . Both said dishes were very good. We all thought the decore was good (big crystal chandeliers and long wooden bar) Hostess and wait staff were also very accomodating. will definately return if we are in this area again

Found this restaurant by chance, before a concert at MSG. Everything was excellent! Would recommend highly!

Chosen solely because it was near to Madison Square Gardens and a Knicks basketball game, we nevertheless, struck lucky. A very attractive decor, friendly welcome, really excellent service and exceptionally good food has now marked this establishment down on our NYC Favourites List Top 10.

We (a group of 5) decided to check this place out before The Police concert at MSG. The ambience was warm with a touch of class. The service was very good...attentive but not hovering. We ordered five appetizers and a pasta special, and shared them all. We were amazed how quickly the food came out. Everything tasted delicious. We especially loved the ravioli appetizer. We will definitely go back the next time we attend an event at MSG.

I found Seven one early evening a couple of years ago. My hairdresser is around the corner, and I knew it was the last chance to eat before my appointment. I went in for a cocktale and sample the tapas menu. It's diverse, priced affordably, and fun. The portions are surprisingly large given the price. I've been back many, many, many times for dinner. Try and catch the specials if you can because they are inventive, fresh, and tasty. They do sell out quickly. I've had just about everything on the standard dinner menu - worked my way through the appetizers and the entrees. Never been disappointed. As mentioned by others, the martinis are out of this world. One bone to pick - they used to serve these devine ricotta cheese donuts, sprinkled with powdered sugar, with a blob of ice cream. It's off the menu now. I couldn't resist it with a nice cup of espresso. If you're around MSG, bypass the sports bars and pubs. Enjoy yourself here instead!
