Session 73 is one of the cheesier bars in NYC.My friend lives in the neighborhood so we dropped by to check out some music. Music wasn't very good. They charge 9.00 dollars a drink and try, and their menu, the descriptions alone, reminded me of a college bar back in Austin. Need more cool spots in NY!

To the reviewer below - do you realize this is a tapas restaurant? The servings are supposed to be small. The food was great and there was a lot of variety in what to choose. I thought it was a great value too. The service left something to be desired though.

I never write reviews, but this place was so unfortunate, it warrants one. The food was subpar. The size of the portions wouldn't even fill up a four year old. Due to the size of the portions and the food quality, the dishes are overpriced. In addition, the service was less than what I was expecting. We had to remind the waiter that we were missing food and I had to get up and track down the waiter to pay the bill. This restaurant should be your last choice if you are looking to eat in the East 70's.

Went on a Saturday evening and had tapas and sangria. Both were great! I will be going back as much as possible!

Session 73 is a great place for tapas. Their menu is diverse and the tapas are substantial enough to make a meal of if you want. I also highly reccommend their Red Sangria! There is also a great bar scene. It is usually easy to get a table from 6-8, but after that, the spill over from the bar makes it harder.

We had such an enjoyable experience at Session 73. The food was out of this world! Great live music and impeccable service only added to our wonderful evening. We'll be back for sure!

The food was very very good and the atmosphere is nice with big couches and what have you. They have a stage for live music, but we left before they came on.
