its ALL about the atmosphere !

You dont go here for the best food, but the burger is good, just $$. you go here for the experience, desserts. its fun. it is what it is!! ps. im a local NY'er and yes, I still come here (mostly with out of towners)

I've traditionally gone for desserts...you won't find a better hot fudge sundae. One afternoon I had the original footlong hot dog and it is true to its name. loved the eclectic atmosphere and all the trinkets. too much food, but fun.

I will admit, I was super excited about going to Serendipity. I've seen it on television many times and heard about their world famous frozen hot chocolate. But don't be fooled. This is definitely a tourist trap! The seating area was tight and crampe

    Overrated tourist trap!

Many, many years ago this was a nice place to go for a treat, now it's nothing more than an overrated tourist trap. The wait times are ridiculous, there are so many better places to have dessert in NYC that I don't understand why people are willing to wai
