A Place to Try
We had about a 15 to 20 minute wait on a Sat. which was fine. The waitress we had was courtious and the service was professional. My husband and I thought the food was excellent. He had the Rigatoni alla Bolognese and I had the Farfalle alla Lemoncello. It was an upbeat, warm, relaxed atmosphere which appeard to acommodate a variety of people. The menu prices were pretty good for midtown Manhattan. We plan on eating here again and recommend this restaurant.

So fun
I loved Serafina. I went with a group of friends and we had such a fun time. The atmosphere is so sexy and alive and it's just a really fun place.

Modern Italian
We found this modern, sleek "movie" style restaurant to be airy and spacious for NYC standards. The staff had great Italian accents and knew the menu well. Freshly prepared and well presented. The spacious restroom has a wild graphic movie going on the walls constantly changing. Fun. Saw families with children enjoying pizzas and amused by all the graphics, so it is family friendly as well as chic for dates.

Very pleasant, and good food!
I had lunch here today. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, and the food was very good. It was a little pricey, but the food and service were of high quality. It also was not too loud or crowded like many NYC spots, so we were able to have nice conversation. I would recommend Serafina.

Disappointing
We have been to Serafina on 58th st one and liked it. So, we decided to try this location as well. What a waste of time and money. One of the dish we ordered "Penne Arrabbiata" was served less than 5 minutes after we ordered. Pasta did not look fresh and just cooked. As we expected, it was worse than instant Microwave pasta. Other dish we ordered were not good either. Waiter/Waitress had the attitude almost like "I am so bored&tired of this job". They added 25% service fee in the bill after such an unpleasant experience.

OK lunch
I went to Serafina Broadway for the second time yesterday. The first time I had the Ravioli and it was average - too much butter and they don't give you very much. Yesterday I was with a group. We had the calamari appetizer which was pretty good. I ordered the fresh tuna and pasta special as my main meal. The sauce was ok but the tuna was very tough and had a strong taste. I left most of the tuna over. I should have ordered the simple spagetti with meat sauce or something that is easier to perpare. The service was pretty good, but for the money they charge it isn't a very good value.
