Ono licious Thai food after Wiked matinee

Enjoyed spicey beef and beans, V35 shredded tofu and vegetables and pad thai with shrimp. Coming from a community with Thai restaurants galore this was comparable and priced right. Tasty and crispy vegetables, generous slices of beef and nice sized shrimp. Pleasant staff and fast service in a cozy atmosphere with huge gold fish to greet you.

What happened to yor place Janet?

Myself and three other takeout customers had to wait a half hour for our food to be ready--with no explanation or apologies from the staff! The consistently curt and cold service to takeout customers is strange--maybe they should stop offering a takeout menu if it bothers them so much?

Good location, so-so food and service

Such a prime location deserves a better eatery. Unfortunately, one of the only Thai choices in the area, the Seeda II experience is marred by inconsistent service, dark depressing decor, and an overpriced safe menu.

    SP1 - What the Frak??

I ordered out so I really can't opine on atmosphere and service. We ordered the Steamed pork dumpling was good (esp the soy sauce) but the accompanying salad was a little bitter. I also had SP1 (Chicken in Peanut Sauce) which was good but way overpriced considering the quantity. (It looked like a lunchtime order charged at an evening entre price - 13.95 ) If you want the chicken in peanut sauce, go with the 8.95 order. Though considering how small the 13.95 order was one can only imagine how small the 8.95 might be.

A favorite spot for friends and families for years!

I continue going to Seed Thai II, as I have for several years. They make one of my favorite dishes - of any meal I have had any where: shredded smoked crispy tofu. On the Menu: V35. Chili Garlic Smoked Tofu* with chili garlic sauce. Excellent! Friends and family thoroughly enjoy many other items on the menu. Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay and Pad Thai are favorite dishes. The atmosphere is darker than light ... smaller than large ... quieter than showy. It has been serving for more than 30 years ... an excellent place for a dependable meal. The service is not speedy as language is being learned ... so take your appetite and patience - both will be well served. Best for diners to leave their attitude at the door - or at home ...

    Basic Problems

I ordered the Tom Yum soup (a spicy soup that you can find at almost any Thai restaurant in New York) and the Mou Ta Krai (lemongrass pork over noodle). The Tom Yum soup came delivered in a plastic container that had partially melted into the soup. It also contained some ingredients too hard and sharp to swallow comfortably but too small to bother chewing. The lemongrass pork was fairly good in flavor but also suffered from surprise ingredients too hard and sharp to swallow comfortably. I didn't know I had one in my mouth until I began trying to swallow it. I have had excellent experiences, delivery and otherwise, from different Thai restaurants in New York. I recommend going to them instead of this one. I couldn't judge the atmosphere as it was a delivery order, so I marked it as "4.0" optimistically.

    Worth the walk!

After reading previous reviews, we were looking forward to a good meal. The food and service exceeded our expectations the meal was an excellent value for the price. We'd recommend Seeda II to anyone looking for a delicious Thai experience.
