I went there for the first time today and got a lunch special. The price was great....but the portion size was way too small. There were like 4 bits of food. I am starving still and have to go get something else to eat now. I got the spicy noodle and a spring roll. Spring roll was awesome. Spicy noodle was decent (Joya's is better IMO). If you go there, order 2 meals or you will be hungry!

This place is awesome. I got the Tom Yum soup (mild, but you can get it quite hot) and the Thai Basil Chicken and thought they were both superb. The atmosphere is friendly and open and the wait staff was kind but not one of those annoying hovering types. What really struck me was how affordable everything was -- for dinner, a full meal for $8.95?! The lunch special advertised was $5.95 plus a free appetizer. These prices seem way out of place in NYC and one would expect a lack of quality to come with it, but See U Thai is a rare gem with a great "bang-to-buck" ratio. Eat here!

Tried Sesame since Joya was always my staple. Delivery guy didn't speak english so I had to meet halfway and pick up myself. Quantitites were TINY and unevenly distributed. BF got "rubbery" beef and I had the chicken pad thai. I've had better boxed pad thai. As my boyfriend said "it's like your white friend who just learned to cook made pad thai for you". I'm sticking with Joya.

I've been eating at Thai Sesame for five years. I am a vegetarian and there are many dishes to choose from. I recommend the Ginger Soup, the vegetarian duck prepared with thai basel sauce (Ped Kra Prow), papaya salad, thai salad, any of the curries, and for dessert the Thai Coconut Pudding is delicious. The service is very good, and quick. Their prices did go up after they renovated the restaurant this year, but it is till a bargain. The lunch specials are very inexpensive.

Didn't notice this place for a long time, but once I tried it, I was hooked. The spicy noodles and Tom Yom Goong soup are a must. I try to limit my intake to once a week, but its a definite challenge.

i've tried all the thai places in the neighborhood, and this one gave more shrimp, more tofu, more veggies than the rest. i don't know why, but it seems like all the rest have become very skimpy lately. this was a nice surpise. ill be going back often. the pad see ew is one of the most delicious dishes i have ever had!
