    Delicious, great value

You don't get much better value than this place. I am currently addicted to the Pattaya Noodle dish, which we tried by accident when our delivery dude brought us the wrong meal, but I would like to call it fate because it is now my favourite meal in NYC! Try it!

    Take Out

This place is great for take out. The food is pretty inexpensive, and is delicious and filling. Get extra rice though because they don't give you very much with your order.

    Good atmosphere..decent thai

The food here is consistently above average, but ive only been here once and probably the biggest lure would be the low prices and the cheap drinks. i had the salmon (in a curry sauce) which is a special and that was spicy and flavorful..though with too little rice on the side. my friend got the pineapple fried rice which was very bland and tasted almost like takeout food. the texture was mediocre and the flavors were very washed out. we got the lettuce wraps which were good except the sauce was ketchup..which im sure isnt thai -.- but the ambience is nice and the prices are attractive. i would go with ordering specialities and not run of the mill dishes.

    Good deal

We've eaten here twice. The food is very reasonably priced... meals range from $8-$14. (I recommend ordering 3 meals for 2 people if you want to be very stuffed although one meal is really an appropriate portion for each person) Both times we were there the food was delicious and hot. On the weekend it's jam packed, so expect to wait.

    Poor service

I have dined here a few times before, and I very much enjoy the food at the affordable prices. However, this past experience was the worst, and I won't return again. As the restaurant was at capacity and with more ppl coming in, the manager had asked us to move to another table, claiming that the table we were seated was "reserved". Secondly, I requested for glasses of water for myself and my partner...and then I had to ask again, from another waiter. After 20 minutes, we finally got our water (water refills were another problem). Lastly, because I only ate half of my dish, I asked for it to be packed. We received the check, paid...and yet no food returned. I know we weren't the only ones who had a bad time at Sea.

    Fancy food/atmosphere at bargain prices

I didn't go in the first time I walked past because I assumed from the modern decor that it'd be too pricey, but luckily the next time I stopped to look at the menu! Great atmosphere, presentation, and food for the price of seedy restaurants--what more could you ask for?

    Subpar Chicken, Slow Service

Sea, Spice's E. Village outpost, gave us a disappointing meal tonight. We waited 40 minutes for appetizers. When the chicken sauté finally arrived, it was not that enticing, which we noticed only after we had all devoured huge first bites. The main courses were delicious, just as at Spice, but the service was slow and unapologetic. Won't go back.
