Sea Thai Bistro

I was extremely disappointed by my experience with Sea. They try too hard with their club like decor. They blast techno music that is really horrible. Also, the food is mediocre. Worst of all, the service was poor. When I asked for brown rice instead of white, they insisted on charging an extra dollar, when on the menu, brown and white rice cost the same. It's not just about the one dollar, but the way they spoke to me was incredibly rude.

I've been here about three times, once for my birthday, and I love it! The place is beautiful and lively and the food is great!!! The martini shrimp is tasty and creative. The drinks are tasty, pricey, but tasty. The only thing I suggest is to get there early or try to make reservations in advance. We waited about 2 hrs for a table!!!! And hopefully you live close or have a friend who's driving, because its a killer waiting for that L train late on the weekends!! All in all, I'd go back again without a question...

Spontaneously showed up at this location. My dining buddy suggested it so I was all for it. First of all, the drinks were great! I loved the atmosphere! It felt like I was on vacation outside of NY. The service was quick. We didn't even realize we had to wait because the crowd was friendly and we engaged in conversation with other patrons. And the crazy part about it is that I expected to spend $100+. Dinner for 2 was under $75 (which included 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 3 drinks, 1 soda and a bottle of water, tax and gratuity). I think that's amazing! Considering for the location! Definitely a nice place to take a date. Would dine at this place again!

This place is unbelievable. The only bad thing is that the wait on a friday and saturday night can be upto 2 hours. But it is sure worth the wait! I highley recommend the cocktail shrimp, the duck salad, and the tum tims. They are all sooo good. For drinks the have very good Pineapple and pomegranat Mohitos. and their leachy martinis are awsome! The prices are also very good. A dinner for 2 will probably be about $60. And the food is quick! the appetizers come out in about 10 minutes. It is highly recommended wether on a date or just a night out with the girls!

I remember this place when it first opened and was really a great date spot. I've been recently and its covered in children and families. The food is cheap but its good for what it costs. The menu is ridiculous. You could spend an hour searching for what you want. Dont go with someone who cant make up their mind. Here is a hint: the majority of it tastes the same. The atmosphere is awesome, converted warehouse. The music is too loud but the crowd is always busy. The service is lacking, but since they rush you out getting a seat is never difficult.

The decor is eclectic and trendy, the price is affordable and realistic and the serivce is fast and efficient. I absolutley love the swings and dj booth, there is a statue sitting in a pond in the middle of the resteraunt, which you have to see. My favorite dish is the Tum Tim Fritters $ 4.00 as the appetizers......and athe Tambrind Fish is my favorite entree...the fried rice is amazing as well as the salmon.....just a really nice place to go. Just dont take any children under the age of 2..no high chairs and no kid menu.....

So i walk into the place and got a table for two right away (around 7 o clock) so that was ok. the place is amazing....its a lovely venue and everything is just really cool. (even the restrooms are amazing!!!!!) We got like two dishes and an appet. for 25$ whats alright and the food came quick so i was very happy i found that place up till then......BUT THEN.....i tasted the food and it was just awfull. it didnt taste like anything and it is a disgrace that they call themselfs a thai restaurant.....i got soya sauce and hot sauce right away....thats when i realized that everyone around me was doing the same thing.... so the food was really bad but its just such a cool place you have to see it...(maybe just go for drinks)
