Sea Thai Bistro

I went here with a few friends and besides the atmosphere, music and friendly servers, the food was great. I wouldn't say its the best Thai Food I've had but it comes pretty close and you can't beat the prices.

The service is slow, the music is loud but the food and price more than makes up for it. Love this place and would make the trip from manhattan anyday. The food is great and they are pretty good at either turning up the spice or cooling it off for you if you ask. Cocktails are great too. Haven't ever been here with a big group - usually just 2 or 3 of us. The seats by the water pool look cool but get tight in the winter with coats when someone is sitting behind you. I worry my scarf or coat will end up in the water. I prefer sitting at a table. The bathroom setup is a little awkward with the sink and mirrors right out behind the bar - not much privacy.

This isn't the place to go if you want to sit and eat right away...its more of a hang out thai experience. Don't go to have dinner if you're in a rush because the wait is excruiating but the environment is beautiful and although the music is a little loud, it makes it all the more interesting. The prices are exceptional and the food is amazing! I loved it and can't wait to go back.

Went there for my birthday with 7 of my friends. Place looks awesome, very nice for either a group dinner or even for a romantic outing. Went on a sunday night and it was very busy. Reservations are a must! Food was awesome and you can't beat the value. Everyone was happy, can't wait to go back!

I'm not sure why people say this place is going downhill, this place has never had great service, the service is ok, it can definitely be better...but what this place is good for is tasty Thai food, inexpensive food, & a fun environment. I've been going here for years and I've never been dissapointed. However, I will warn that any time you go on a Fri or Sat you are going to have to wait for a really long time! But it's worth the wait!

I've been here years ago but when I took my boyfriend last night, we were blown away (and I am a regular at all the fancy spots in Manhattan). The ambiance is wonderful it's feel good from the minute you walk thru the door. We went on a Tue night so we didn't have to wait however it was still completely full (which is rather impressive for such a big place). I didn't expect the food to be that great based on these reviews, but it turned out to be the best Thai I've had in a long time. We order the crispy veg spring rolls, pad-see-ew (chicken) and penang curry. Everything was so flavorful. I've also been having trouble finding a good mohjito lately and Sea's was pretty good. It took the waiter a long time to take our order, but once he did, our food was out in minute. My bf was so impressed by this place and the food...we will definitely be back!

I've eaten here a few times in the last year and a half. Each time, it has gotten progressively worse....mostly, in the area of service. I agree with the reviewer on here who said that most of it tastes the same. It's not good, it's not bad, but it's not worth suffering horrendous service.
