Good food, at night there is good music, drinks are good, food is great. Overall Good Place to Chill With the Group

I've been to SEA twice and probably won't go back for a third - there are much better eateries in the area where you don't have to wait for a table. Nor would you have to deal with the out-of-place bridge and tunnel kids who, for some reason, think SEA is a club. The food is extremely cheap and you get what you pay for. For those who have had authentic or gourmet Thai or Malayasian food, it's a disappointment. It's worth going once to check out the interior and bathrooms (probably why this place is so popular - you get the feeling of being in a hip Manhattan restaurant or club without the prices). Their specialty cocktails are worth trying if you like sweet girly drinks. The wait staff leaves a lot to be desired. Avoid Friday and Saturday nights. If you are in college or fresh out of school, it's a great place to bring a date on the cheap. If there comes a time in your mid 20's where you develop a gourmet palate and start earning money, then it's time to choose substance over glimmer.

thanks to my boyfriend, he put me on -- now I'm HOOKED. The prices are awesome--The amount of food they give for the price is AMAZING!! The atmosphere is trendy, sexy, romantic and fun! You can full up on appetizers buy it's self (buy 3) You GOTTA GO!

The good: beautiful, large, trendy, hip, cool space, good drinks, reasonable prices on the food The bad: crowded, quick "in and out" vibe from waiters, food is subpar, seems microwaved Go for the fun ambiance but don't expect great Thai food.

I love this place. A guy took me here yesterday and I loved the scene.. Very dim and night atmosphere .. The wait was forever for a table ..but well worth.. highly recommended.

SEA is worth the trip out to Billyburg. The place is huge and gorgeously appointed. A large buddha sits at the head of an indoor lotus pond. The bathroom area alone is memorable, and I mean that in a positive sense. The restaurant is packed on a weekend night, with the wait easily being an hour or more, but once you've gotten your number you can enjoy a tropical drink at the bar surrounded by scenesters in a beautiful setting anyway, so nothing lost. The food itself is surprisingly cheap and pretty tasty.

I have been to Sea in Brooklyn twice and loved it both times. The menu is very reasonable the portions are huge. The atmosphere is great. You feel like you are in a swanky Soho or Village restaurant without those swanky prices.
