While the modern decor is very unique and eye-popping, unfortunately, the sheer traffic, the long wait and the noise make it a less than perfect experience and atmosphere. I will say the most the restaurant has going for it, is the fact that it actually is fairly authentic. Most thai restaurants claim to be, but Sea actually is. Eg. You should get little else but the protein of your choosing and Thai eggplant with green curry sauce when you order green curry. That is the way it is eaten in Thailand... not with mixed vegetables. The problem with the food is that it is very bland, almost like everything was diluted with coconut milk. It pretty much defeats the purpose of being authentic. I gave Sea extra points for its authenticity, but it does very little to impress beyond that point. It's also not the worst experience.

Been to the bar twice for happy hour and sat down for dinner 2 separate occasions. Each time I went the service was great n the food and drinks great for the price. By far the best Thai Restaurant in BK. I like that it's spacious and a great weekend crowd. It is very very noisy and reserve a table a day ahead.

I have been going to see since 2008. I have noticed that the food has gone down hill but it is a good place to take out of town friends. I almost always order the Black noodles (pad see eew) with chicken no broccoli. Everytime without fail they mess up the order. The last time they included broccoli and coated the dish in scallions. Don't get me wrong the food is good, they just don't listen. As for the restaurant itself, I don't know how they always have a 20 minute wait. There are two better Thai places on Bedford two blocks away at the same price. I guess it's good if you want a kitschy atmosphere but I'll stick to ordering from my local Thai place with better food and cheaper prices.

It was a very large group but we were only given pre-fixe menus.. pretty annoying. Luckily, I usually order the same thing at Thai restaurants (Tom Yum & Green Curry).. at least the first thing I eat there so I can judge if the restaurant is good. They were nice enough to let me substitute those since there were no soups or curries available on the pre-fixe menu. I was surprised to find tomato in my shrimp tom yum, and surprised to see that there were only 2 shrimps in there, but it was really delicious. The green curry was good/average. It tasted good but it wasn't the best I've had. Nothing bad to say about it. Only 2 choices for dessert, molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (Tiny bite of cake, big scoop of ice cream) and Green Tea Cheesecake with raspberry sauce which I ordered and did not enjoy (also a very tiny slice, which might have annoyed me if it tasted good). Environment: There's so much going on.. when I walked in I had no idea what was what or where I was meant to go. Definitely not welcoming. It's so cluttered and dark. You can tell they put a LOT of effort into the decorating, but they ODed. Music was annoying, there was no point of them having a DJ because it was the same beat playing the whole time and they could've just had a CD on repeat.
