I love Sea Thai oh my my :-)
Been to the bar twice for happy hour and sat down for dinner 2 separate occasions. Each time I went the service was great n the food and drinks great for the price. By far the best Thai Restaurant in BK. I like that it's spacious and a great weekend crowd. It is very very noisy and reserve a table a day ahead.

One The Best Thai Restaurants
Love the atmosphere, nice and contemporary. The Staff is great. These are waiters that actually deserve their tips. The food is delightful,

Good for first timers
I have been going to see since 2008. I have noticed that the food has gone down hill but it is a good place to take out of town friends. I almost always order the Black noodles (pad see eew) with chicken no broccoli. Everytime without fail they mess up the order. The last time they included broccoli and coated the dish in scallions. Don't get me wrong the food is good, they just don't listen. As for the restaurant itself, I don't know how they always have a 20 minute wait. There are two better Thai places on Bedford two blocks away at the same price. I guess it's good if you want a kitschy atmosphere but I'll stick to ordering from my local Thai place with better food and cheaper prices.

Uncomfortable environment, pretty good food
It was a very large group but we were only given pre-fixe menus.. pretty annoying. Luckily, I usually order the same thing at Thai restaurants (Tom Yum & Green Curry).. at least the first thing I eat there so I can judge if the restaurant is good. They were nice enough to let me substitute those since there were no soups or curries available on the pre-fixe menu. I was surprised to find tomato in my shrimp tom yum, and surprised to see that there were only 2 shrimps in there, but it was really delicious. The green curry was good/average. It tasted good but it wasn't the best I've had. Nothing bad to say about it. Only 2 choices for dessert, molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (Tiny bite of cake, big scoop of ice cream) and Green Tea Cheesecake with raspberry sauce which I ordered and did not enjoy (also a very tiny slice, which might have annoyed me if it tasted good). Environment: There's so much going on.. when I walked in I had no idea what was what or where I was meant to go. Definitely not welcoming. It's so cluttered and dark. You can tell they put a LOT of effort into the decorating, but they ODed. Music was annoying, there was no point of them having a DJ because it was the same beat playing the whole time and they could've just had a CD on repeat.

If you're going for...
Do I think Sea is the best Thai restaurant? I'm not sure. I've been to quite a few Thai restaurants and they all start to seem the same: food, service, ambiance. But what sets Sea apart from these other restaurants is the time delivery, the location, and the prices. The food is inexpensive, your food is on your table within 10 minutes after you order. I do think the drinks are a bit expensive in that you would expect the drinks to be in the same price range as the inexpensive food, but hey! If you're looking for a great value, fast yet efficient delivery, new experience, you canNOT go wrong with Sea!

tasteless Sea
Was looking forward to a nice meal with my husband, who is a vegetarian. Starting off with drinks, we were served margaritas without any alcohol and purely just guava juice. The waitress quickly realized the mistake and kindly went back to the bar and added the alcohol. My husband ordered the Tofu with stringbeans and I ordered the spare ribs with peanut sauce and potatoes. It was the most tasteless meal we have ever had. The spareribs were marinated in a bitter tasting peanut sauce. The tofu was so bland and unappealing. $60 just for two drinks and two entrees that were all a waste of money. Totally overrated and overpriced.
