Scotty's

I really enjoyed this place. The gyro with greek salad was great. I just moved to the neighborhood and felt right at home after eating here. Glad to have this nearby.

We arrived around midnight so were very pleased there was a 24 hour diner around the corner and we could have full breakfast which was just what we needed. There were a few tables occupied and we were greeted and seated immediately. Waiter was attentive and helpful and food cooked quickly. The diner has a "greasy spoon" feeling to it but if you get past that, it's value for money.

You can not walk in the door with out someone welcoming you. I have only had the breakfast but it was cooked as ordered promptly and there was plenty of it for the price paid. I would highly recommend this place. I may go for dinner this afternoon.

We stumbled across Scottys around 3am one morning after a heavy night out. We were staying at the Shelburne Murray Hotel and decided to see if we could get anything to eat. Being English we expected to maybe find a burger or pizza somewhere we did not expect to walk into a diner and be offered a full menu and be presented with glasses of water and toast with jam within 5 mins! Most of us ordered the corned beef hash with eggs and fried potatoes for $6 and this was ordered again on subsequent visits! We went to the same place most mornings for breakfast and always received great service and good quality and good value food. The place even delivers 24 hours a day! I can highly recommend the corned beef hash and the eggs benedict.l

My friends & I frequent this deli often, generally in groups of 6-10. In comparison to neighbouring delis, Scotty's food is good, prices are cheaper than usual, and the service is fast & excellent. Overall an excellent value. Last night we (group of 9 people) came to Scotty's after getting really really bad service at a neighbouring deli. The second we walked in through the door at Scottys, the waiter quickly added 2 small tables to a large table (in the back room) that comfortably accomodated all of us BEFORE we all sat down. When we all left Scotty's at 7.30pm, the solo cheerful efficient waiter plus Scotty's had a very handsome tip from us!

This place definitely has the best pancakes with sausage of all diners in the area, perfect golden pancakes and the real, thick sausage links, for far cheaper than the other places. They have decent omellettes, burgers, sandwiches, and fries from what Ive tried. The chicken souvlaki is not really chunks just a sliced grilled chicken breast, and the greek salad is as expected from a diner, not too good. However, thats expected from a diner and the real diner food is great and cheap. The atmosphere is also that of a typical diner, it is larger space inside than it seems from the small frontage outside, and like I said, the staff is very friendly and timely, in person and on the phone.

Stopped in after a night out nearby, very friendly atmosphere, food was excellent and staff was great! Will definitely return to Scotty's!
