Best French Toast Ever!
I love this place! Servers and the rest of the staff are hard working and attentive. Good burgers, shakes, and great for a good old diner breakfast. The french toast is excellent.

Be careful...
I've had Scotty's both eat-in and delivery many times now. Many. My coworkers love it so we order there all the time. Be careful... I've had some decent meals, but nothing is fantastic. And I've had some times where my stomach wasn't so happy for a few days afterward. The staff are nice, delivery guys nice... We mostly get delivery, and we have a problem with our order about once every eight times--something will be either just wrong, or missing. But when I've called to ask for missing items, it wasn't a hassle to get it right away. I decided to write this review because yesterday, on my turkey club, the turkey was clearly bad--it smelled awful. The coleslaw (always iffy wherever you go) should probably be avoided; last few times I've had it, it was fermented. Sometimes the chopped up lettuce in wraps or in salads is brown and old. The fries are good. The portions are huge--too large often. Some of the salads are ridiculous. An entire block of feta, or three sandwiches worth of deli meats, etc. Just too much. But the prices aren't that cheap either,so it's not like you're getting some crazy deal... You just have no choice in the portion/price ratio. I have some go-to choices since I'm essentially forced to eat from this place all the time, but even those can let me down sometimes. On a good day, this place is just "fine", "decent", "okay" or occasionally "pretty good." But be careful...

Disappoitning
I read good reviews here so thought I'd check this place out. Omlette was good but potatoes were very dry and bad. Also ordered a side of bacon and had to ask for it two more times before it arrived. There are better places.

Scotty's is Super Solid!
My doorman turned me on to this place. I've ordered the corned beef hash and eggs, the reuben, the bison burger, the veggie burger and many a "black and white shake" from here. They are always polite on the phone and have never gotten my order wrong. Lately for variety, I made the mistake of ordering from another diner with the initials "M.S." Even though the order was over the 'net, several items came wrong and the fries weren't nearly as good as Scotty's. Thanks.

Not good for delivery service...
I ordered brunch food for delivery and it was a disaster! 1. The bag was wet outside AND inside from the rain - they didn't cover it. If they just take a little more care in their handling, this should never happen. 2. The coffee and balsamiq vinegrette for the salad spilled all over the bag - they first didn't use tight covers and then didn't take care when bringing it over. 3. The salad itself tasted stale and overloaded with low quality deli meats. 4. The waffles was extremely soggy Anyway, maybe this would not be so bad if I had ate at the diner, but I will never order delivery from Scotty's again.

great diner
I really enjoyed this place. The gyro with greek salad was great. I just moved to the neighborhood and felt right at home after eating here. Glad to have this nearby.

Good food and prices but little bit dirty
We arrived around midnight so were very pleased there was a 24 hour diner around the corner and we could have full breakfast which was just what we needed. There were a few tables occupied and we were greeted and seated immediately. Waiter was attentive and helpful and food cooked quickly. The diner has a "greasy spoon" feeling to it but if you get past that, it's value for money.
