New menu relieves diners of Olive Garden style choices
I ate here last summer, and I was overwhelmed by the giant selection of menu items... and underwhelmed by the food that came out. This time around, we had a fantastic meal. With 8 at the table, I was able to sample a few things. Standouts: the Tagliatelle Al Brie, Arugula, E Speck (and Truffle Oil!) and the black pasta with seafood, that I don't see on the menu they have posted. Stay away from: the gnocchi. It was kind of gummy, and really nothing special compared to the other dishes.

unlimited mimosa brunch!
we had a really great, affordable brunch here. the food was nothing fancy although tasty, and the service was amazing. what really did it for us were the unlimited mimosas -- which the servers were totally on top of! I don't think I ever saw the bottom of my glass. the atmosphere was great too because it was a nice sunny day and they had the back doors open. and, oh, the bloody marys are a great deal (during brunch anyway) $4 for a very tasty and rather strong drink.

Surprisingly unfriendly
We live 10 blocks from Scottadito and while they do deliver they say we are too far away. I am surprised that the restaurant can afford to take this attitude. They must be doing really well to turn away business like that. In a place like Park Slope where alot of couples both work I would think it would benefit them to expand their delivery service. In the meantime we remain alienated and annoyed by this stricture.

A Perfect Evening
After visiting Scottadito on Friday I had to share my dining experience. I had made reservations that morning for my boyfriend and each of our parents, who were meeting for the first time! We arrived ten minutes late yet were quickly and warmly greeted. The waitress actually hugged my stepfather and I! The space was warmly lit with rich Tuscan colors. The waiters were able to perfectly balance being accommodating while allowing us to engage in a wonderful conversation. Now for the food.. The food was amazing! I highly recommend the Prosciutto, Dried Figs, and Goat Cheese appetizer which was topped with caramelized onions and sesame seeds, finished with a balsamic reduction. So yummy! Every person loved their meal and plates looked as though they were licked clean. As we were eating, our waiter refilled our wine on the house! Then, to our surprise, we were also given two desserts (tiramisu & cheesecake) on the house. Thank you Scottadito for making the evening memorable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

tasty
I went here last night and loved it. We got the spinach gnocchi and one of the salmon dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious. The final bill was slightly more than I had hoped to pay, but it was still worth it.

love this place - hidden gem
I have been here twice and have enjoyed the meals immensely. I've had both breakfast and dinner and was wowed both times. Bottomless mimosas for brunch. Need I say more?

Dissapointed
I was highly disappointed with this restaurant. The appetizer was salty (a vegetable carbonara), the pasta dishes rigatoni a la scottadito was as good as you would find in a pizzeria, sauce tasted nothing like a vodka sauce, it tasted like a marinara sauce with a tablespoon of cream. The fettucuni with proscciuto, cheese and oil was good in taste, but was overpowered by the amount of sauce. The worst was that we did not complain, because we had no waiter (he left) and the host disappeared. One thing I did notice and that is that the Chef was entertaining friends and did not cook our dinner, maybe that was why our food was less than memorable. Will skip it and stay in BayRidge for our Italian food, even our Pizzeria's make better Vodka sauce.
