German Food like my Grandmas
went there about a week ago to listen to the band radio daze. first off this band is great. i dont think amy band can compete unless your the real thing. anyway went there the place was slammed and surprisingly the food came out rather quick for everything going on. the waiter was great! he handled the entire floor basically by himself with some others helping run his food but he was a great multi tasker also covering the bar. i had the xl pork shank and needless to say it was amazing and had enough for dinner. a lunch and dinner for next day. lol. my wife got the vegetarian teller which i was happy they had because i was afraid she wasnt going to eat there because shes a vegan. after we ate we sat at the bar with jo anne and listened to the band. she makes a really nice cosmo. i already wrote alot but long story short everything about this place is top notch and i hope there arounf for as long as i live so i can enjoy great German cuisine.

don't go there!
One of the poorest places I've eaten in. Ordered boiled knockwurst, which was soured. My friend had the broiled kielbasa, which was tasteless and dried out. It was cold outside and they the air vents running as if it were 90 degrees outside. This is not the first time I've been here but it is my last!

Nothing German
I ordered the Haehnchenschnitzel (chicken cutless) meal with German chocolate cake. The chicken was dried out, it came with overcooked curly fries, and a side salad. Curly fries? I have been to Germany and never ate one french fry. The schnitzels come with croquettes. The cake was dried out and stale tasting. There was nothing German about this meal! I could have gotten chicken cutlets, curly fries and a salad with ranch dressing at a diner.

Great German Food!
Great food and great service. I've tried a few different dishes and loved them all. Skip the buffet though. I've only gone once and didn't care for it at all. There was a very limited selection which mostly consisted of strange things for a German buffet (stuffed shells, fried sole, pasta), some bread and salad and about 3 German dishes, no schnitzel. The atmosphere is kind of bar-like though.

good german food
was there last night for the first time. a nice neighborhood place with fresh food and vg service. shared the weinerschnitzel and jagerschnitzel - both good, come w/salad and fries. also had a vg goulash soup. not fancy, not cheap, but a restaurant i would return to. enjoyed it.
