Schnipper's Quality Kitchen

Schnippers has realy great quality salads and burgers. My favorite is the fig and blue salad. very unique combination of high quality ingredients. The shakes are also fab! However, they have chosen to institute a $2 delivery fee. this is very unusual for midtown deliveries. I will not be getting delivery from them anymore.

It's a MUST stop every time we visit NYC. Sweet Potato Fries for the hubby...Sloppy Joe for me...and I NEVER eat them ever...except at Schnipper's. Grilled Cheese is awesomely huge and comforting.!

The mac&cheese and sloppy joes are just average, but the Salted Caramel Milkshakes are to die for

From the chocolate shake to the macaroni and cheese with a few fish tacos in between this place knows comfort food! YAY, a no miss when in midtown. Clean, delicious and fresh what more could you ask for? Go check it out.... I know you'll agree :)

And you have a tired, hungry, borderline-whining 12-year-old daughter in hand who has dragged you through the Times-Square melee on her once-yearly trip uptown for an orgy of consumerism. The atmosphere has your head throbbing. You want to run screaming all the way out to the suburbs. What to do for a quick bite before the train ride home? Do you give in to the madness and eat at Hard Rock Cafe? Do you put on your game face and insist on doing it old-school at Gray's Papaya on 37th (where you know the lack of seating and a reliable bathroom will send your princess into paroxysms?) No! You go to Schnippers Quality Kitchen, where you can escape the circus of Times Square and have some good, not great, junk food and a bathroom that works. OK it's too bright and sterile-looking , but it's the sterility that provides you with an island of solitude - the way people used to tune out at the automat. OK you'll pay more here for a mediocre hotdog ($3.50) - but I'm willing to pay up for a chance to relax at a clean table and sip a Boylan's cream soda while my kid contentedly applies a thick layer of mac and cheese to her hotdog, takes a bite, and smiles. We'll both be able to snooze contentedly on the ride home.

It's about 15-16 bucks per person, but the quality and quantity of the food doesn't match the price. They're supposedly famous for the Sloppy Joe, but it wasn't anything special that you can't make at home. It was $6.99 for one tiny roll covered with a spoonful of the Sloppy Joe. The sweet potato fries are legit, but it's like $4 for a tiny cup of them.

good cheese burgers, sweet potato fries, but very small portions...my coworker ordered blue cheese burger and it sucked...they are pretty expensive for a fast joint..also im big on mac and cheese..when i ordered it i asked the worker if it was good and they said it deliscious (4 different cheeses) --it sucked , felt like 4 different powedered cheeses and its 10$ ...easy mac is much better
