Great Atmosphere!
Don't come here if you don't want to wait. The wait is the best part though, because the crowd is fun, and I always end up meeting interesting people. By the time you are seated, any food will taste good.

Great Night out
This is a great restaurant to visit when you want a fun night out. It's not for just eating. If you are looking for food, and you are hungry, have a snack b/4 you go... b/c after 7pm, there is a wait... But the drinks and the bartenders make it worth while. I always meet interesting people at the bar, while we all joke about the wait.... and then you sit. And the food is really good for the price. It's very well priced. I love the experience, but it is that, an experience... better for friends, than for couples... ** Side note, don't be thrown off when you walk in the bathroom, there are unisex sinks, so will see men and women washing their hands... stalls are separated...

We waited over 2 hours for what?
I've worked in the restaurant business for many years and never had I been in a more unprofessional place in my entire life. We were there for over 2 hours when they told us it would be a 45 minute wait. We asked the hostess several times about our table since parties that were bigger then us were sitting and FINISHING before we were seated. When we sat, I don't think that I'd ever had a faster meal. The waitress was so confused and the kitchen is a factory just cranking blah food. Mussels were overcooked and so salty. Same goes for the calamari. Definitely nothing to wait around for. If I didn't have to stay because it was a friends birthday, I would have been out of there much sooner. This place is NOT Balthazar and really needs to get over itself.

Good food and good service. I think it's a great place to have dinner with friends because of its relaxing atmosphere.

A Great Place to Eat, Drink, Relax
This place is somewhere you can drink with friendly people, served by amazing bartenders, eat a truly delicious meal for a very inexpensive price, and sit back and enjoy the eclectic atmosphere. It is a place that easily can become your "regular" hangout. This is a rare thing in the nyc restaurant scene. During the day, the windows are all open wide. You can relax, even with children, while the cool breeze wafts inside. Try it!

Excellent.
The chicken actually tasted of something. The steak frites was fantastic. The 1/2 carafe was a little smaller than normal. The espresso was perfect.
