The food is very bland and the resturant lacks cleanliness and atmosphere. 2nd Ave Deli is by far the best.

By far the most underrated true deli in Manhattan. I've eaten here for years, and have yet to have a bad meal. Delivery is fast, and the individuals who take orders are top-notch! It might not be deli, but Sarge's serves the best hamburger in New York. Char-broiled to perfection...and always cooked the way it was ordered. Pastrami is what others only dream they could make. Try the cheesecake. If you like creamy smooth cheesecake, this is your nirvana. Much better than Carnegie, it is overall better than Second Avenue Deli and Katz's. They are open 24-hours, for that Pastrami hunger at 3 am.

Sarges in the number one best place to call 24 hours a day for home delivery. The food is always tasty and the menu provides so many things to choose from. Being a newyorker, we love home delivery. Sarges menu is the only one you'll ever need for that!

Amazing deli sandwiches! Best chopped liver anywhere!

I have been eating here for a few years and love it!!! Yes the sandwiches are over sized, which just means I enjoy it again later. The Matzo Ball soup is very good and a high recommend. The omelets are delicious and the Potato Pancakes are the best in Manhattan. so bring your wallet, quality comes with a price, and enjoy. .

Here's another Carnegie-Stage Deli type where the sandwiches are so overstuffed and expensive that you cuold have made 3 or 4 sandwiches. So bring a few people with you and a loaf of bread and all can eat for the price of one sandwich. Food is good and leather (or vinyl) booths are comfortable. Service provided by well-fed ladies is good and sometimes cozy.
