I live pretty close to Sarge's and order, now, frequently. The pastrami sandwich always comes hot and well packaged. The combo sandwiches are also excellent. Totally agree with the review that says the lady on the phone late night is fantastic - she's truly a special person as far as deli staffers go. Never had any issue with them at all.

I order delivery from Sarge's late night on a regular basis. The woman who works the phone on the overnights is terrific. I love to order food. For others of you out there that love to order, you totally get where I am coming from (others may not understand). This woman makes ordering a pleasure. She just "gets it." She deals with my special requests perfectly and understands my requests. (almost impossible with the foreigners running most delivery these days). The food arrives fresh and delicious rather quickly.

I've only ordered take out from Sarge's and each time I get a delicious burger that is clearly made to order. I ask for medium rare, and that's what I get. My husband prefers medium, and that's what he gets. You can tell they actually took the time to make sure we got what we wanted. And the order always arrives unexpectedly fast.

We have been going to Sarges for some time, but had a bad experience the last time we went. The food was soggy and not hot when it arrived. In addition, the service was very slow and waitresses seem to have no clue what they are doing.

I've been to Sarge's a few times, and it's pretty good deli fare. But I tried it for breakfast the other week and was very pleasantly surprised. Simply the best corn beef hash you're every going to find -- makes all others pale into insignificance.

In addition to standard NY deli fare...must try the blintzes and potato pancakes. i recently enjoyed a delicious burger here as well. the waitress won't steer you wrong as my wife was treated to an immense delicious portion of ribs. the meatloaf was also great. pastrami, corned beef, all up to par for a new york kosher deli. i have tried a few things on the menu and have not been disappointed by anything so far.
