Sarge's is the best
I have been ordering from sarge's for over 8 years and never once had a problem with the delivery, in fact I would say it's one of the best run operations around. Pretty much everything they make is great, especially the burgers, knockwurst, pastrami, chicken soup, breakfast stuff, BLT, chicken finger, I could go on and on... Knishes are one of their low points so go for the potato pancake.

poor delivery
Sarge's delivery is the poorest in the city. On numerous occasions, I've waited over two hours for my food which arrives freezing cold. They will tell you repeatedly that the food is "on its way" which is a lie. Other times, the food has taken over 2 hours and the order has been wrong. Don't even bother trying to call back and get what you originally ordered because that will take an extra hour. Their customer service is subpar - they will do nothing to accommodate you after they've taken forever or made a mistake. Plus on top of everything, the food is overpriced and underwhelming.

A classic NYC deli.
Sarge's is one of the few classic remaining NYC delis. The food is consistently delicious. The sandwiches are piled high with meat and the matzoh ball soup is delicious. The prices are very affordable for the quality and quantity of food. During the NYC rush lunch hour I have never waited more than a minute or two for a seat with three to four people in our party. Experience Sarge's before all of our NYC personality has gone the way of a Starbucks coffee shop.

Don't bother
My food took over an hour to be delivered. I called them 3 times and they kept telling me the guy was on his way. I live only 3 blocks away! And to make it worse, it was after midnight so it's not like it was a busy time. The food was not even close to good enough to warrant waiting that long. There are plenty of other deli's. Very disappointed.

Over-rated
Couldnt believe how much of a rip of this place is...over priced, poor quality and to top it off waited forever. Dont even hesitate to pass this place up.

Going downhill, and they don't care
The last time I ordered from them, the food came an hour late and was cold. The people on the phone refused to send me new food. I just called and I was on hold for an extremely long period of time, as if my call was forgotten.

Authentic NY Deli
This is by far the best deli in the area... ask for the reuben extra lean!
