I was there for lunch in May 2015. Have always heard/read about Sardi's and so glad I experienced it! Our lunch was on the fixed menu price---perfect! Food, service and atmosphere certainly lived up to the reputation. Will make this a regular stop when I get back to NY!

I first went to Sardi's on my honeymoon in 1952. Over years, I became friendly with many regulars, and bartenders Frank, Jose and Joe, all among the best ever. Great in late afternoon at the downstairs bar.

I couldn't figure out what to order and the waiter offered a suggestion. He started by bringing me an absolutely fantastic salad followed by the spinach ricotta cannelloni and topped off with the strawberry meringue whip cream pie! What a great move -I enjoyed every bite from start to finish! Service was also great!

People go to Sardi's because of the history and fame....I certainly hope not for the food. Crab cake was, well, unrecognizable in appearance and taste. Over over priced, too bright and just not worth it. Disappointed twice.

I was expecting mediocre food and an uninspired menu, but was surprised by the incredibly poor service. The waiters cleared and set down items by reaching across the guests rather than bothering to walk around the table. Between courses, our water cleared the crumbs from the table for one of the four of us, dumping the debris onto the carpet below. The busboy refilling the water glasses sloshed water on the table and our food each time.

The food is as good today as it was 10 years ago when I 1st went there. TOP SHELF!

Went for the business lunch. Service was prompt and the guys who worked there were really friendly! Especially the head waiter, he was very helpful in helping us select the best dishes (we follow a Halal/Kosher diet.) You might even see a celebrity or two from A list to D. I had the Broiled Mahi Mahi and the cheesecake. Both dishes were prepared really well and it came with a drink and coffee. Wish the bread they serve was warm though. All that food for $22 was a great deal. I will be back again!
