Quality is going down
This place used to be 'the go to' for south indian vegitarian food. However it seems like management/chef changed. They dropped the quality in service and food. I saw on one table they received check before their food arrived. Also they increased prices. Well, overall it's a big 'no no' place for me now.

Quality inconsistent
I have been frequenting this restaurant right from the time they opened and the quality while once very good, is now getting closer to being not much better than average. I would still recommend this place for those looking for an intro to south indian vegetarian food.

great!
i went to this place which had been referred by my friend ,the food is really great guys the best food i had in my life its really we had a nice time here with my family this people dont take reservation at all we just have to walk in it is crowded always there is a long wait in the street amazing i guess people are going crazy about the food there service is fantastic

Good food, do not expect ANY service
This restaurant is for the uninititated. The food is good , but do not expect any service. They should be boycotted just for the service.

Authentic South Indian food
Myself and my husbnad both are born n bought up in Bombay . We both loved the food and this is the best South Indian food we have ever had in states. Ambiance is just okay.......this is more like eat and go kind of a place...resonably priced...will sure go back again.....

best indian food in NYC
My friend had referred this place to me after i been to this restuarent i thanked him lot for suggesting me the great indian food in nyc its really rare to get food like this in US ,and there service are so nice and great even though this guys are busy there are takeing care of customers so nicely .this is the best food and great service in NYC

great service in curry hill
the best south indian food i had in my life even i did not get a chance to eat this kind of food in india its my all time favorite and wright now there service are great i had great experience with my friends and family ,and its hard to get hot dosa in US but if u go to saravanaas u will .
