    Horrible

When I went to the first Sarabeth's five years ago I loved it. Everything that my group had was fantastic and I couldn't wait to take my mom there for a lovely brunch when she visited me. Not only did they have an uninteresting menu, but the staff was horrible. I believe that the food was pre-made because it came out the second we ordered it and my eggs were generic. The best way to describe the food was like airport or convention food. Definitely buffet quality and not special. I would've had a better meal at Denny's

    Disappointed

I was really excited about eating at Sarabeth's. I went to the one on the Upper East Side across from the park. Not only was the service uninspiring, but the food was too. I got the crab cakes and they were super dry with no flavor. My husband got the chicken with some sort of side and salad. They didn't bring us bread or even refill our drinks the entire evening. Maybe they should just stick to the jams and pastries they offfer, because the food was not very good. I was really surprised - actually shocked. I came to visit from Atlanta and I can name 10 restaurants that are better than this one. And it was on Oprah! Not sure how it made it on there.

    Overrated

Very disappointing food on our most recent visit. Previous visits yielded better results, at both this location and the upper west side location. They also automatically add a 17 percent service charge, which I find objectionable.

Sarabeth's is always a reliable treat

I called ahead and made a reservation for a party of 12 people to Sarabeth's for dinner despite having only going there for brunch in the past. We were given a beautifully set table in the small section upstairs. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and the food was as fresh and delicious as always. Rich flavors with a homemade touch to each dish. I wasn't certain whether bringing a large party for dinner would be a good idea at this restaurant but the food and the night proved to be a great choice for my graduation party dinner with family and close friends. Sarabeth's never disappoints...

    Always Crave it!

I go to Sarabeth's at the Whitney quite often, and usually the reason is the open Faced Tuna Salad Sandwich. But now I have a new reason for going there, the special Cobb Salad. Its Amazing! I am returning for the 3rd consecutive day. A+

    Decent Brunch

With an endless array of amazing brunch places in NY it is hard to stand out so some hardcore brunchers might find this place average, but for me, it has its charm. It also doesn't hurt that I live in the area. While the menu is small, what is offered is delicious. The service isn't bad or as tumultuous as at some other restaurants on a sunday morning and the ambience is energetic yet calming since you're below sidewalk level but there's still plenty of sunlight. I've always gone on a Sunday around 10 or 11 and have never had to wait for a table. Try the four flowers juice and the pancakes!

    luncheon

Not as good as their upper west side sister. Overpriced, limited menu. Servers very pleasant. p.s - do not order cookies from their web sight - mine came in broken and when I e-mailed them 2 times to complain about these very expensive broken cookies never received any respose. Shame on them!
