Breakfast
My friend and I went there couple of days ago for breakfast. The place is very low key and it has great ambiance. The place was very crowded. People were waiting outside of the restaurant. The food is great. The service is great. The place itself is very small. Arrive early if you want to secure a good table. will go again.

UES favorite
Sarabeths has excellent food at not extreme prices. The menu is fairly big, and I have yet to find a dish that was truly subpar, they are all quite good. Personal favorites are the lemon zested tuna salad, the farmer's omelette, and the club sandwich. The food here is excellent, but beware of the lines. You need to arrive early (or hang out at the local coffee shop for half an hour while waiting) to get a table. In addition, the main room can be loud. The service is almost always good, but I have been forgotten about on occasion, which shouldn't happen at a restaurant of this caliber. The value here is moderate. The food is not badly overpriced, but it's not exactly a steal either.

So so
Went for dinner: good creamy tomato soup, and good dessert (creme brulee) but the main course, some braised beef shortribs, was very disappointing: just a tasteless boiled piece of meat with a "jus" instead of a real thick wine sauce... for 100$ for two (without wine, cocktail), there are some places around much more interesting. Probably, better for brunch but I never had the courage to wait in line...

Best Brunch in the UES
Was introduced to this place a couple of years ago by a friend and have been going back consistently since. Food is great, good variety on the menu and haven't ever had a long wait (looks busy but they clear the line fast). Would recommend as the best brunch in the area.

No thank you.
I have been here multiple time and never had a good meal, its edible but nothing beyond that. Much better places in the neighborhood.

Upper East Side Staple
There's a reason Sarabeth's is always crowded, its a tried and true UES eatery If you haven't been in for brunch, try the traditional eggs benedict, they're amazing, Also order a Bloody Mary, its one of the most elegant I've ever seen. For lunch or dinner try their famous tomato soup, we've been eating it for years!
