    So so

Went for dinner: good creamy tomato soup, and good dessert (creme brulee) but the main course, some braised beef shortribs, was very disappointing: just a tasteless boiled piece of meat with a "jus" instead of a real thick wine sauce... for 100$ for two (without wine, cocktail), there are some places around much more interesting. Probably, better for brunch but I never had the courage to wait in line...

    Best Brunch in the UES

Was introduced to this place a couple of years ago by a friend and have been going back consistently since. Food is great, good variety on the menu and haven't ever had a long wait (looks busy but they clear the line fast). Would recommend as the best brunch in the area.

    No thank you.

I have been here multiple time and never had a good meal, its edible but nothing beyond that. Much better places in the neighborhood.

    Upper East Side Staple

There's a reason Sarabeth's is always crowded, its a tried and true UES eatery If you haven't been in for brunch, try the traditional eggs benedict, they're amazing, Also order a Bloody Mary, its one of the most elegant I've ever seen. For lunch or dinner try their famous tomato soup, we've been eating it for years!

    Great little breakfast!

My husband and I were a little hesistant to try after reading the other Sarabeth's reviews, which are not so hot. It was crowded when we arrived-- standing room only. We went about 11a on a Saturday, but our wait was only 20 minutes. We were met by a very friendly waitress who delivered prompt service-- at times a couple things were slow but the restaurant was jam-packed with other hungry brunch-goers. The atmosphere is very nice-- friendly, casual, sunny and cheery with nice high ceilings. I had the lemon-ricotta pancakes and my husband had the pooridge. The lemon-ricotta flavoring is very light, in fact I probably would have called them regular pancakes if the menu didn't say "lemon-ricotta." But-- point is, they were good and my husband loved his pooridge. The table next to me ordered the whole wheat pancakes with wheatberries and bananas which looked excellent. Only thing we didn't care for was the coffee-- flavorless and yuck. Price points were nice too. We were pleasantly surprised compared to other NYC brunch eateries. I think my pancakes were only 11 dollars. All in all, despite the coffee, we will definitely be back!

    Pretty good brunch

This place looks to be always busy, so we finally stopped in for brunch. Overall the food was good. I think there are probabally better things on the menue then what we ordered, judging by the dishes we could see being served. Service was good, and a friendly waitress.
