    Good Food. Snotty Staff.

Be sure to show up for your reservation early, because they will cancel it. Today we got caught up in subway delays and arrived 5 minutes late. Our reservation had been canceled and we weren't about to wait with about a dozen other people waiting. We've eaten here before and the food is great. The employees are as snotty as the neighborhood. Go at an off-time and don't expect hospitality.

    Poor Service

I have been to the Sarabeth West and East and found this location to be worse. While the atmosphere outside was nice and the hostess was an absolute doll, everything else was terrible. Went for lunch and ordered the CPS burger and the best part about it was the avocado salsa they give on the side. It was not worth the 30 minutes it took for the burger to get to our table and the lemonade was not worth the 20 minutes it took to arrive. Overall the experience was not worth what we paid for. I wanted to tip the hostess instead of the waiter.

    Yummy!

Although the prices are pretty high. The food is amazing. Large portions! Breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruit and amazing rolls and muffins.

    Good Brunch

The brunch is very good. The selection was good and they were willing to make the item to my specifications...The wait for a table can be long and not too much room to wait. Our food came quickly and I wlould say it is a fun place to go and enjoy a brunch.

    Dinner

Well I don't know about everyone else, but I have had Brunch at Sarabeth, My wife and I desided to have dinner. We started off with a salad, I had the chance to have a Duck special that was prepaired by the chef, I do have to say it was one of the best meals I have had in along time, my wife had had the Yellowfin Tuna that is on the menu, it came out of the kitchen cooked just right. Thank you for a great meal.

    Unbelievably poor customer service

Went there about 3pm last Thursday with a guest with whom I needed to discuss sensitive personal matters privately. I had been there once before and found it OK. There were no tables for 2 that would have provided adequate privacy. There were many empty tables for 4, so I asked to be seated at one and was refused. I was told it needs to be saved for larger parties, despite the fact that it was mid afternoon and clearly not a busy time. I indicated why I needed more privacy but this fell on deaf ears, even after the hostess checked with someone else. I found this attitude completely unacceptable as well as pretty stupid on their part. They have now lost me as a customer and I will not be shy in making others aware of their very poor service. I have had similar requests honored on the past at other restaurants, who often go to much greater lengths to gain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    Beautiful Restaurant but...

overrun with tourists. Granted it's a tourist haven but way too many tourists and baby carriages. I like the eggs benedict, but come on with the english muffins they are served on! Way too much bread. The english muffins are towers of bread. Can't taste the eggs. $4.25 for coffee? Thats hard to swallow.
