Memorable breakfast
I wanted to come here ever since I visited the UES Sarabeths years ago and loved it. The reviews on this site made me hesitate, but last Sunday since we were staying overnight midtown, I decided to take my husband to St Patricks for Mass, then here. What a wonderful experience! The service was impeccable. Our waiter was smiling and friendly. He kept our coffee cups filled with the delicious brew, and our food was served promptly. My husband ordered the spinach and goat cheese omelet, while I ordered the farmers omelet which had ham, potatoes, leeks, and guyere cheese. Although we both agreed that our omelets could have used more cheese, his English muffin and my raisin scone were to die for. Both were served with the most delicious strawberry jam I have ever tasted. The Central Park location is quite scenic also and they have lovely, but limited outdoor seating. Be warned that there are only two unisex bathrooms, so there can be a line. Overall, I would come back here. I would love to try the pancakes, which looked yummy.

Brunch
I had the crab cake . Portions get two thumbs up but the wait time was a little ridic. Champagne lemonade went well with the heat wave .

Why Would You Stop For Brunch
Stopped in for brunch last Sunday. Three drinks, order of waffles and sauage along with eggs benedict and homefries. Bill with tip $120. To many brunch hotspots in the city that offer much more. Everything was very average.

Going downhill
I used to enjoy this establishment. At first as good as the UES one.Now dreadful.Bad food brought out cold and rude wait staff. The manager is indifferent to complaints. Stated to me and another couple about our complaints"thats too bad"

Extremely Poor Service
The food quality is beyond reproach but the wait staff here are terrible! I'm sure it'd improve if Ms Sarabeth herself will see to service standards in her cafes/restaurants.

Good Food. Snotty Staff.
Be sure to show up for your reservation early, because they will cancel it. Today we got caught up in subway delays and arrived 5 minutes late. Our reservation had been canceled and we weren't about to wait with about a dozen other people waiting. We've eaten here before and the food is great. The employees are as snotty as the neighborhood. Go at an off-time and don't expect hospitality.

Poor Service
I have been to the Sarabeth West and East and found this location to be worse. While the atmosphere outside was nice and the hostess was an absolute doll, everything else was terrible. Went for lunch and ordered the CPS burger and the best part about it was the avocado salsa they give on the side. It was not worth the 30 minutes it took for the burger to get to our table and the lemonade was not worth the 20 minutes it took to arrive. Overall the experience was not worth what we paid for. I wanted to tip the hostess instead of the waiter.
