Rock solid Indian
I live further up on the UWS where the Indian fare is, outside of Indus Valley, mediocre at best. Thus, my expectations were low when we found ourselves near Lincoln Center one day and decided to give Sapphire a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. I love Indian food, and if Sapphire were within delivery distance of our apartment, we'd make this our regular go-to place.

the best indian meal in town
I have been to Sapphire on many occasions and I have never been disappointed. From the moment you step into the restaurant, Satish is always there to greet you with his welcoming smile. I have tried many of the dishes and cant wait to go back.

not worth it
Greasy food, rude and abrasive service, the space is the only decent part but it's really not the worth money.

Nice Indian Restaurant by Lincoln Center
We were not sure of where to eat nearby Lincoln Center before the opera and decided to eat at Sapphire as we saw many clients inside, which is a good sign. Good choice! Food was very good and at a reasonable price, service was also good and we were very pleased.

a pleasant surprise
with all the restaurants near Lincoln Center, we were unable to find any that would suit my vegan husband. Wish we had discovered Sapphire before, we enjoyed their sumptuous buffet, reasonably priced, and no loud "music" to assault our ears. We'll be back!!

Yummy Indian Food
We drive to NYC from Vermont 2-3 times a year to go to the opera and broadway shows. We love Sapphire - the Saag, Lamb Chop starter and main dish, eggplant nut dish, naan,dal - I could eat there every night.

Excellent Vegetarian Lunch Box
Hello, I am a vegetarian and live close by Sapphire. I love getting their lunch vegetarian box for take out or delivery, I have never actually eaten in the restaurant, but the food is spectacular and a great value.
