r.i.p. sapolo
when i first moved to bed stuy 9 years ago, the first place i ordered from was Sapolo. not only did they deliver to where i lived, but the food was YUMMY, the price was right and they were very friendly. i ordered from then regularly and hipped all my friends to them as well. as a regular, they gave me an AWESOME chinese calendar every chinese new year that i proudly hung in my kitchen. they became a staple for late night gatherings and quick/cheap thrill when the 420 munchies hit. they're delivery became an institution among my friends. after a few years, the calendars changed and they stopped making krinkle fries, but they remained awesome. when, regrettably, i moved from brooklyn to atlanta in may, i craved some sapolo. recently came back to visit nyc and to my horror, it seems sapolo has closed. i couldn't be sadder about such a loss. r.i.p. sapolo and thanks for all the yum.

The atmosphere is comfortable and pretty. The food is tasty and the prices are wonderful.

I have ordered both delivery and on site. Service is unsurpassed. Food is OK. Hit and Miss.

Love This Restaurant
The food is delicious. The atmosphere is pretty and comfortable. The prices are great. I love going to this place. I always enjoy myself!

Sapolo Outside!
Sapolo is great. They're always on time with the deliveries and you can't beat their prices out here in the 'Stuy. Yea, it's Chinese/Spanish take-out, but it's good food with good portion size. Highlights include the 1/2 chicken dinner (it's roasted and SO yummy), the scallion pancakes, the lo mein, the traditional "stoner meal" - friend chicken wings & french fries, and they have great fried plantains. The folks are really friendly as well. Also, order a large homemade lemonade for a refreshing treat to beat the summer heat.

we like it
Ok, so 5-star cuisine it's not. What it is is solid chinese and spanish food. It's tasty, well-prepared the price is right, they'll do vegetarian dishes and best of all they deliver to my neighborhood. Nobody else really does. It's raining right now and they are on their way. I love these guys.
