Best in PH
By far the best Indian joint in Prospect Heights/Park Slope. I've tried almost every other joint in the area, always to great disappointment.

Fantastic food, amazing lunch value
This is the best Indian I've had in the area and i think I've tried them all. The chicken tiki masala and veggie curries are my favorites. Recently I've taken to ordering their lunch box specials which are a great deal. I saw the last review and it talks about it less than stellar food and ingredients and i will say this that every once in a blue moon i will get the food and it is sub-par. I don't really understand why, but 90 - 95 percent of the time the food is delicious. I highly recommend it.

So disappointing
Was excited to try this place based on the below reviews. Food was bland. Poor quality ingredients on no way tasty.

Best food ever!
Sapid is our favorite spot!! The food is excellent, and the owner is super nice. I have no complaints.

Get the delivery special!
Since moving into the neighborhood a few weeks ago, Sapid has quickly become one of our take-out favorites. We always order 2 of the appetizer/entree combos and share everything so that we have a lot of variety. The chicken tikka masala is like crack, especially when ordered extra spicy. Get the aloo matar gobi app, too. It's as good as Curry Hill restaurants in Manhattan but a way better value.

Ordered recently. Food was pretty good, though I didn't think it was any better than a couple other places in the area. Was annoyed when a delivery man told me I had not tipped enough (tipped $2.50 on just over $20 worth of food). Will do pick-up in the future!

Excellent Food!
The people who run this place are lovely and accommodating, and the food is top-notch. The Navarattan curry (sp?) and Malai Kofta are just amazing.
