    Great food & service

Went to Santorini Grill for lunch on a Saturday. Had a plate of hummus (which is reddish because they mix in sweet red peppers.) One of the best hummus' I have eaten. Perfect texture and flavor with bits of artichoke heart. The pitas we were served were grilled, thereby infusing the grills flavor. Extra pitas were asked for, and received at no extra charge. The gyros weren't your ordinary pressed type that you can get almost anywhere. They were hand shredded/ chunked and delicious. The chicken was also grilled as ordered and delicious. Service was excellent, although the meal took a little while to cook, no problem & worth the wait. People who complain about slow delivery or receiving cold food from delivery need to get up off their seats and GO to the restaurant. This is a very good restaurant in Brooklyn, a true find. They do not warrant some of the picky negative comments posted here!

    Not recommended

Looks like others who delivered from here had the same terrible experience I did. Food certainly sub-par - measly pieces of chicken, limp salad and didn't even get my wholewheat pitta I specifically ordered. The worst however was the fact it was delivered over an hour after the estimated 30 min delivery time was up, was stone cold when I received it and when I complained to log a complaint and ask for a refund, the best they could come up with was to take back my food and offer me something else...What? That is NOT a solution . They should all take a 101 on customer service since it's reviews like this which will tarnish their reputation. Never again.

    Quality affordable Greek

I'm of Greek descent and bemoan the fact that outside of Astoria and very expensive Manhattan restaurants, the only Greek you find is 'Diner' food or some kind of hint at hellenism found in middle eastern places. Santorini is a very good, very pleasant restaurant to eat at. The service was polite and prompt, the food was delicious and easy on the wallet. I picked up lunch once and got a lamb gyro. The difference between a street cart (even those famous ones on 53rd st) is undeniable. Pita bread is soft and fluffy instead of the stale stuff served at most shwarma places. The lamb is spiced perfectly and tender, the tzatziki is actually tzatziki, not mayo mixed with a little yogurt. My dinner experience consisted of Dolmadakia (stuffed grape leaves), pretty standard aka hard to screw up; the tiropita and spankopita reminded me of the little corner stores/bakeries that dot Athens; the horiatiki had lettuce so wasn't that authentic, but still good; finally the Santorini Shrimp was delicious, nice tomato sauce, giant shrimp, how could you not enjoy? The food won't blow you away, but it is very well done Greek at an affordable price, making this the perfect neighborhood spot.

    Pretty Disappointing

Perhaps eating at the restaurant is better, but I had delivery a few weeks ago and was dissappointed. It was my first time ordering and after placing my order I get a call back from the restaurant saying ,"we just wanted to let you know that it is customary to tip" Thanks Santorini, no kidding. Just thought it was really unusual and was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Then I tried the food.... Will never order from here again.

    Greek Done Right

Fresh delicious greek food, warm hospitable service and affordable prices make Santorini an amazing find. The lunch specials are the best, only $5 for a pita stuffed with mouth-watering chicken gyro or a delicious greek salad topped with chicken. Everything from the house wine to the baklava make us keep coming back again and again for lunch, brunch and dinner. We also order delivery often, and it is always fast and in perfect condition. I'm actually eating lunch from there now as I write this review. Yummy. Don't miss it.

    A+ Awesome. Delicious. Affordable. Warm.

I really really love this place. The food is always delicious (I've eaten in twice and have ordered 1/2 dozen times). Everything is freshly homemade daily. I've never tasted a morsel of food here that was not great. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. The portions are healthy. I feel at home when I walk in. The staff is the friendliest in Williamsburg. Whoever that reviewer is who had a bad delivery experience, that sucks. But take it from me, you should definitely try it again. Run, don't walk, to Santorini.

    Consistently Great!

My husband and I go to Santorini 2-3x/week! You can't beat their Lunch Specials! Yummy Fresh Salads with Souvlakis and my Favorite Feta Burger at $5-$6! I really love how it tastes and feels like you're having a meal with your family. The waitstaff is so friendly!
