Knock your socks off good food!
Quality and care goes into every sandwich. It shows in each fresh and flavorful bite. I am always torn between ordering something I have already had and loved or trying something new. Either way, there are no wrong answers. The owner makes his own mozzarella....are you kidding! Try finding that in NY at prices anywhere near Sanpanino's single digit menu. If you do, let me know and I will add it to my list.

Best Sandwich in New York
This place sell the "Best Sandwich in New York" not even close and they put what ever your heart desires on it...you think it they can do it...always a friendly atmosphere.

Wish all places were like this
Only ordered delivery. Whether it's my own pick or a suggestion from the guys there, every sandwich has been excellent. Nothing soggy, nothing dry. Only yummy. These are the nicest people in NYC. From the first time I called, they seemed authentically happy to be doing what they do. That's rare and a pleasure.

Always great
I live in the neighborhood and frequent Sanpanino at least twice a week. These are definitely the best pressed sandwiches in the West Village. The guys who work behind the counter are so nice, and they always slice the meats fresh to order. The prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich is simple, yet outstanding.

The best
I am italian and pretty picky when it comes to italian food, but these are the best sandwiches. The ingredients are always fresh, the service good, and they make the best latte in NY, just like the real caffelatte at home, and the best mozzarella, which you can buy by the lb! We always order there for car trips, picnics on the river or for lunch on wknds. The whole family loves Sanpanino. My kids' favorites are the speck and fontina and the mortadella and mozzarella. Simple and delicious!!!
