We have been here twice and never had an entree. We again gotten taken in by the tapas. Two of us had chicken empanadas (2), jalapeño rellenos (6) and chips

Was looking forward to authentic Spanish food and was totally disappointed. Food was mediocre and had no flavor. Sangria was just ok. Service was very good and the space was nicely appointed, however, until the food improves, I will not be going back.

Ordered the Signature dish of salmon it was dry and tasteless, told what seemed to be the head waiter that the salmon was dry on my dish he joked and said he would fire the chief, I did not think it was a joke. When a chief features a signature dish every dish should be perfect. It no wonder that this establishment rating is still pending, I would not go back.

We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation from a matinee and were seated immediately. The waiter answered all our questions as this was only our second time to have tapas. He recommended that everyone order 2 or 3 per person to start which we did. Ample food for everyone. Food was delicious! Baby lamb chops (3) were cooked to perfection - medium rare and came with roasted potatoes. Vegetables with goat cheese and mozzarella was a large portion and delicious, too. Others loved the dates with bacon, the empanadas, melted provolone. Every dish was terrific and the champagne sangria was refreshing! Only negative was that the restaurant was not cool enough for me. Temperature outside was 95. Needed the ac turned down more for me.

Sangria 46 - When traveling to New York in March for Business I stumbled across Sangria 46 for a late lunch located on Restaurant Row. It was one my best restaurants experiences in New York. I am writing this review four months later, and still cannot forget how impressed I was with the quality of service I received. I highly recommend you try the Seafood Payaya and Red wine Sangria. Both the Bartender and Owner were super nice, very friendly, and very tentative. Look forward to visiting again when I back in New York.

I lived in Spain and did not know what to expect from this place. The tapas menu and quality were excellent. The selections are definitely Americanized but very good. Our server, Valentino, did a fantastic job. He was passionate about what he does and extremely attentive. He gave good recommendations and guided us through the menu. He explained the differences between what they offered and the authentic cuisine I experienced in Spain. Try this place out!

My partner and I had brunch at Sangria 46 on Sept 16. WE sat in the lovely outdoor garden (in back).WE had several tapas served elegantly in a 3tiered server. The gambas(shrimp in garlic sauce) were excellent, not overcooked and dripping in garlic. The mussels were in a savory red pepper/tomato sauce:delicious! The salmon/portabello entree was also wonderful. Special 3Berry Sangria was superb, if a little pricey for a half pitcher. We finished off with 2 pasteles (tres leches y quatro leches) 4milk was disappointing but classic 3milk cake was fresh and wet with creamy flavor. All in all it was a superb meal with good service. Would return in a spanish heartbeat!
