The best Diner is Astoria, hands down!
I've been going here for years. They were cash only for quite a while and you'd think that this would deter some people and I'd understand why it might, but because of the quality of the food and the good service, I never did mind hitting the ATM before going over there. They do accept credit cards now by the way. Nothing against diners, but to call this place a diner is very much a misnomer. This is a restaurant and a damn good one. You will not be disappointed.

24-hour deliciousness
What other 24 hour diner sells Opus One? They even have a sommelier. It's the ultimate blend of casual with gourmet in a lovely setting.
