Great Prix Fixe Lunch
I had a great quick business lunch at San Martin Restaurant in New York. For $19, I had an appetizer of Mussels in White Wine Sauce, Chicken Breast entree and Strawberries with Coffee for dessert. Service was prompt, not friendly. Enjoyed the meal for the price.

not good at all
I was there with a larger corporate group. The service was indifferent. My mozzarella with tomato and basil appetizer was a joke. (Note to the chef: when produce is not in season, don't put it on the menu.) Green, tasteless tomatoes, sloppy slice of mozzarrella doused in oil and two basil leaves. My entree, capellini with tomato sauce was a disgusting mess of overly garlicky, salty sauce (which was no better than the brands in a jar) slopped over some overcooked pasta.

CoZy SpoT ! GreAt FoOd iN MidTowN !
Decided to try this place out after a friend of mine recommended it. I must say I was impressed with their menu selection. There were so many dishes to choose from that it took me a little longer to decide which one I wanted. I love variety. I ended up having the fried calamari appetizer (perfectly crunchy and I didn't have to chew each piece for an hour...lol!) and my date had the tomato and mozzarella appetizer and she loved it. Overall the food was incredible and the service great. Not too much on top of you but always around when I needed something. It's almost like the waitress could read my mind!

Below average food. SKIP IT!
The ambiance was nice, its a cozy little place. We had no problems with the service either. The food on the other hand was bland and it all tasted the same. Desserts had no flavor. We had Tiramisu and cheescake.

Hidden Jem!
There's a hidden jem in midtown manhattan...a small, cozy, friendly spot that serves a delicious blend of Spanish and Italian food. You can have tapas at the bar, which my girlfriend and I did, while we waited for our table...we ended up staying at the bar, right next to a large flat screen, an overly energetic and hilarious bartender, and an extremely intelligent and charming owner. We ended up having our dinner at the bar and we so enjoyed our plus THREE hours there! LOL!

The Best meal we have ever tasted.
This was our first rip to NYC and our first place we ate dinner at. The staff was friendly and efficient, They got my husband's drink wrong, but no big deal. Appetizers, Entrees and desserts were all wonderful. Husband had Procuitto Tutti Fruitti and I had the same, amazing!!!! Entrees were the highlight, I had the Risotto (YUMMY) and he had spaghetti and meatballs which he said tasted as good as his Italian Nona's!!! Dessert was chocolate dipped cannoli which was just excellent. A wonderful evening was had and we will Definatley go back again when we visit NYC.
